If it is not direct perception, it is because it is not manifest for the time being. Since direct perception does not grasp it, how can one infer the absence of the afterlife through the way it is not grasped? If it is said that it is grasped by inference, in general, not only direct perception but also complete establishment from inference can accomplish the benefit of a person, then this inference is not something you acknowledge either. As it is said: 'How much is the realm of the senses, that much alone is a person. Whatever a learned woman speaks, that is like the tracks of a jackal.' Because the measure by which a person understands meaning is only as much as the direct perception seen by the realm of the senses such as the eyes. Those four elements such as earth, which of the natures spoken of in your treatises has become the object of your wisdom, and if it is not of that nature, then how can that which has the thick darkness of mind for a very coarse object truly realize whether the very subtle afterlife exists or not? It cannot be realized. Another fault is that at the time of denying the afterlife, one should realize that that nature, the outsider, is looking at the nature of knowledge in a perverted way. Because denigrating the afterlife is the basis of the form of that view, because it is the cause of its existence, being in conjunction with a similar bodily aggregate. For example, just as when one acknowledges that the nature of phenomena truly exists. If one thinks that even at the time of realizing the true existence of phenomena, the example seen by non-perverted vision is empty of the dharma to be established, that is also not the case, because for phenomena that are unproduced by nature and non-existent, realizing them as existing by nature and being born, therefore, perverted vision is established. This shows that for the combination of one's own correct signs, as an example, it is necessary that it not be empty of the dharma to be established. It is the same for what is taken as a sign. Previously, when establishing that sound is impermanent, it was also said that what is apprehended by the eye is the sign of establishing non-establishment, thus showing that establishing the proposition with a sign requires three reasons. The nature of phenomena

If someone asks: Then, must that unborn dharma be established? Just as it has been said before how these elements are not self-existent. Because above, when preventing arising from self, from other, from both, and without cause, I have also commonly, that is, generally, prevented the self-existence of elements. Therefore, observe these elements, there is nothing that has not been said by preventing it in a general way before, so the metaphor is established. Similarly, when slandering the omniscient and preventing the tenets of those who speak of self-existent things different from this, one should also combine the reversed understanding. For example, when preventing the perfectly complete Buddha, one should realize that one's own nature of knowable things is seen as reversed. Because the support of the form of his view is in accordance with the similar body. Whenever one admits the existence of the nature of the elements, it is the same at that time. These and so on should be combined, because one wants to prevent all views that consider existence and non-existence. If you also think that this inference is the same, that is not the case, because we have no metaphor to establish the reversal. When realizing that there are other worlds, one should realize that one's own nature of knowable things is seen as the ultimate truth. Because the support of the form of my view is in accordance with the similar body. Whenever one admits to realizing selflessness, it is the same at that time. It can also be said in this way. Similarly, here, when realizing that there is an omniscient one, one should realize that one's own nature of knowable things is seen as the ultimate truth. Because the reason and the metaphor are only these two. Similarly, one should also combine with "all things." Therefore, in this way: It does not arise from itself, nor does it arise from another, it does not arise from both, nor does it exist without a cause. In this way, the four views that have been promised are very well established. As it is said, one should not say that this is preventing other's tenets, but not establishing one's own tenets. The third is: Here it is said, if things do not arise from self, from other, from both, and without cause, then how do they arise?
