Just as the eye and forms, and feelings, etc., arise together, and the eye consciousness arises only simultaneously, similarly, some say that the eye, etc., and the mind are also the cause of feelings, etc., only simultaneously. If the wisdom of the eye, that is, eye consciousness, considers its own producer, the eye, etc., which are simultaneous with itself, and the consciousness, etc., that arise together with them, as the cause, then, in that case, even if otherness can exist by considering consciousness, etc., what is the need for something that already exists in the causal time to arise again? Because there is no need at all, there is no arising. If one wants to avoid the fault of not arising and says that the fruit does not exist in the causal time, then, for this prior and posterior thing, the fault of the absence of otherness established by its own nature has already been explained. Thus, this reasoning shows that even if otherness exists in what is considered cause and effect, arising by its own nature is impossible. Therefore, it shows that arising from other is impossible. The previous reasoning showed that even if arising is possible in cause and effect, it is impossible for its own nature to be other. Therefore, it shows that other-arising is impossible. Therefore, saying that arising from other exists, because the meaning expressed is empty, it disappears and disappears, and only the sound of such expression remains. Third, if the producer produces from other than the produced, then, is the fruit produced by that cause existent by its own nature, or non-existent, or both existent and non-existent, or neither existent nor non-existent? It should be examined in this way. First, if the fruit exists by its own nature, then what need is there for a cause of production for it? There is no need, because if something that exists by its own nature arises, then something that has already arisen will arise again, and that has already been shown to be unreasonable. What can the cause do for something that does not exist? Because it does not exist like the horns of a donkey. What can the cause do for something that is both existent and non-existent? Because it is impossible for these two to be together. What can the cause do for something that is neither existent nor non-existent? Because it is impossible for it to be neither of these two. Second, divided into two parts. By accepting other-arising through worldly fame, thereby avoiding worldly harm. In worldly terms

Furthermore, by the absence of arising from another, worldly harm is avoided. The first part has two points: the debate about worldly harm, and showing the response that it does not harm. The first point is: If the reasoning that was stated in order to establish arising from another, like dry firewood soaked in butter, you have completely burned it with the fire of wisdom. The firewood of reasoning that ignites the fire of your wisdom is enough, there is no need to ignite it now. Then, if the reasoning is not shown, isn't it impossible to establish the meaning of wanting to establish arising from another? It is not so, because for whatever is established by the world, other reasoning has no function, because the world's perception is very powerful. It is said, because all worldly people abide in their own views, and consider the world's perception to be reliable, so it is very powerful, and worldly people also directly realize that from a cause established by its own nature, another result arises. When establishing the rationality of reasoning, it is established from the latter of the two, direct perception and non-direct perception. The first point is: Because direct perception has already been established, there is no need to establish rationality for it. Therefore, for the existence of arising from another, what is the use of stating other reasoning that establishes its existence? Therefore, even without the rationality of the establishment of arising from another, things can arise from another. So for the existence of arising from another, what is the need to show other reasoning? There is no need, because it is established by direct perception. The second point is: For those who have not truly understood the meaning of the scriptures, and from beginningless samsara, the clinging to the appearance of things as real, which arises from the ripening of the habit of clinging to reality, is like separating from a friend who has been familiar for a long time, that is, being separated from repeatedly hearing the method of separation—the reasoning of no self-nature. This reliance on worldly harm's coping method, that is, relying on worldly common sense, if many worldly origins are not explained, it is impossible to reverse from the worldly harm's common sense. Therefore, for a place like this, the world will cause harm, so it is necessary to explain its special object of harm,
