Since it is through the nature of accomplishment that one holds great Bodhicitta, therefore, great compassion and so on are accumulations. Thus, through the means of unerringly accomplishing the unsurpassed Bodhi, the merit and wisdom that fulfill the meaning as spoken of in holding it as the result. The two that do not fulfill that meaning are ordinary accumulations. This is also the meaning explained by the etymology of the Sanskrit word for accumulation (Tibetan: སཾ་བྷ་ར་, Sanskrit Devanagari: संभार, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: saṃbhāra, Chinese literal meaning: accumulation). Because the conduct of merit and wisdom is far superior to that of the Shravakas, even in the Desire Realm, at the time of the last existence, one is able to generate the wisdom of an Arhat without relying on the teachings of other teachers. And because that one is enlightened for his own sake, that is, because he attains or causes to attain the Arhatship, he is called a Pratyekabuddha, and is also called self-born. Although the term "Sage" can also be applied to Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Arhats, it is not the Lord of Sages, so only the Buddha is called the Lord of Sages, because he has attained the supreme Dharma sovereignty that is unsurpassed even by Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, and because that third person, by the command of the Buddha, holds dominion over the realm of Dharma. Among those Lords of Sages, the arising of Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is created by them. If one asks how the Lord of Sages creates Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, When the Buddha appears in the world, he engages in unerringly teaching the profound dependent origination. That method is heard by those of the Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha lineages, and they contemplate the meaning of what they have heard, and they meditate on the meaning of what they have contemplated. And from such a sequence, the desires of both Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are fulfilled according to their respective aspirations for the result. Therefore, those two are created by the Lord of Sages. If it is said that when many of the Shravaka lineage hear the Dharma from the Buddha, they manifest Bodhi at that very time, but those of the Pratyekabuddha lineage do not manifest their own Bodhi at that very time, so it is unreasonable that they fulfill their own desires by hearing, contemplating, and meditating on the meaning spoken by the Sage? There is no fault. If some of the Pratyekabuddha lineage, even if there are those who are skilled at realizing the ultimate truth merely by hearing the Teacher speak of dependent origination, although they do not attain the Nirvana of a Pratyekabuddha in that very life of seeing the Dharma after hearing the Dharma, but in

The practitioners of our own school who explain dependent origination say: The karma accumulated by karma that will definitely be experienced, when accumulating karma, even if the result is not experienced in that lifetime, it will definitely be experienced in other lifetimes, just like this, even if Nirvana is not attained in this life, Nirvana will definitely be attained in other lifetimes, For this reason, when the Buddha previously taught the Dharma, by listening, thinking, and meditating, the wishes were fulfilled, this is not said only considering that lifetime. Just as it is said in the Four Hundred Verses: If by knowing that, one does not attain cessation here, in another life, without effort, one will definitely attain it like karma. And also in the Middle Way Treatise: When the Buddhas have not appeared, and when the Shravakas have also perished, the wisdom of the solitary Buddha arises without dependence. It is said like this. In the commentary, the meaning of if some people etc. is, some people even if they explain dependent origination, but it appears that they have not attained the fruit of Shravakas etc., therefore, explaining dependent origination cannot completely perfect the Shravakas etc. Wanting to explain this answer, and others think that after receiving the meaning of dependent origination of non-arising, that result should have arisen immediately, but because there is no that result, so that result will not arise later, explaining like this is, a statement that does not understand the meaning of the occasion, because there is great doubt about the way the Thubwang created his own school, so especially targeting that doubt, the doubt that must be cut off has not been cut off. Second, if the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas are born from the Thubwang, then, from where were the Thubwang The lords born? The perfect Buddhas are born from Bodhisattvas. If the Bodhisattvas are also born from the teachings of the Buddhas, are they not called the sons of the Buddhas? Because they are the sons of the Buddhas, how can the Buddhas be born from the Bodhisattvas? Just like the father of a son cannot be born from the son, if you say so, it is true that the Bodhisattvas are the sons of some Buddhas, but, due to two reasons, the Bodhisattvas will become the cause of the Buddhas. Among them, from the difference of stages, the way the Bodhisattvas become the cause of the Buddhas is, the Tathagata
