Pala, taking the knowledge of suchness alone as the knowledge of the Buddha, it is said that the knowledge of all that exists is not in the mindstream of the Buddha, but is contained by the mindstream of those to be tamed. This is a slander against the Buddha's knowledge of all that exists. Some even slander both wisdoms, saying that the knowledge of how things are is also not in the mindstream of the Buddha. Some of the remaining content of this will be discussed at the time of fruition. If all dualistic appearances have ceased, is not such a nature invisible? How then do those Buddhas see the ultimate truth? Although it is true that in the vision of suchness, dualistic appearances have ceased, so they do not see in a dualistic way, it can be said that they see in a way that they do not see. The way this goes as a response to the debate is: Because the wisdom of how things are directly sees the suchness of the aggregates, etc., and because the aggregates, etc., are not established in that vision, it is their suchness, and it is necessary to see their suchness in a way that they do not see the aggregates, etc. The self-commentary says: Without touching conditioned things, only directly realizing the nature, therefore, because it is understood, it is called Buddha. This explains that the Buddha's wisdom of ultimate knowledge does not touch the object of knowledge, but only understands the nature of reality, which is the same meaning as saying that they see the suchness of those things in a way that they do not see the aggregates, etc. The meaning of "not seeing is the supreme seeing" is not that seeing nothing is considered seeing, but as previously explained, not seeing elaboration is established as seeing freedom from elaboration, therefore, seeing and not seeing are not based on the same basis. As it is said in the Compendium: Forms are not seen, feelings are also not seen, perception is seen as without seeing, formations are also not seen, in that consciousness and mind, mind and intellect are all not seen, this is seeing the Dharma, taught by the Thus Gone One. Beings often say in words that they see the sky, but how can that sky be seen? Let them examine this. Thus, seeing the Dharma is also taught by the Thus Gone One. Seeing cannot be expressed by other examples.

Yes. It is said that not seeing is the five aggregates, and seeing is Dharma. That is the meaning of Suchness, as it is said, "Whoever sees dependent origination sees the Dharma." For example, the sky is merely the cessation of tangible touch. Seeing or realizing it is like how an object can only be an object when there is an obstacle to be refuted, otherwise it cannot be seen. There, the seen sky and the unseen sky are the obstacles. Just like that example, like seeing blue without seeing, seeing Suchness is blocked by the last step. Seeing in a way of not seeing, it becomes the object of knowledge for understanding the two truths. Son of the gods, if, in terms of ultimate truth, the ultimate truth becomes the nature of the objects of body, speech, and mind, then it does not belong to the category of ultimate truth, but becomes conventional truth. However, son of the gods, in terms of ultimate truth, the ultimate truth is beyond all expressions, undifferentiated, unborn, unceasing, and separate from speaking, speaker, knowable, and knower. The meaning of the previous scripture quoted as saying is: In the presence of seeing the ultimate truth, that ultimate truth is not seen in a way of not seeing the conventional aggregates, etc. If the aggregates, etc., become the objects of body and speech, and become the objects of mind, then, in the presence of directly seeing Suchness, because it is not separated from elaboration, it will not become the ultimate truth, but will become the elaboration of conventional truth. By doing so, it becomes the object of knowledge seen in a way of not seeing. The meaning of the second scripture is that in the presence of directly seeing the ultimate truth, the ultimate truth is undifferentiated, which means there are not many different characteristics. The other three are easy to understand. In that view, being separate from the agent and the object of speech is easy. The wisdom that directly sees Suchness can be established as ultimate wisdom, and the ultimate truth can be established as its object of knowledge, However, in the presence of that wisdom, it is not contradictory to be separate from the agent and the object, because the agent and the object are only established in the presence of conceptual consciousness. For example, inferential consciousness can be established as having an object, and the ultimate truth can be established as an object, but the agent and the object of the object and the subject
