It is also considered so. If one knows how persons are established by imputation, then all other phenomena are also the same as being established by imputation. As it says in the King of Samadhi Sutra: "How you know my perception, apply that same wisdom to everything." Also, as it says in the Noble Collection Sutra: "How I am, know all sentient beings to be the same. How all sentient beings are, know all phenomena to be the same." Also, as it says in the Precious Garland: "Because a person is an aggregation of six elements, how can it be truly existent? Likewise, each of the elements is also not truly existent because it is an aggregation." It is clearly stated as such. The meaning of the first line is that a person is labeled in dependence on the aggregation of six elements. The meaning of the third and fourth lines is that since it is impossible for there to be no parts and a whole, each element is also labeled in dependence on the aggregation of its many parts, so it is not truly existent, that is, it is not established by its own nature. If it is labeled in dependence on the aggregation of parts, then the parts and the whole cannot be established as its basis, and something with a different essence from those two cannot be its basis either. The aspect of how things like pots are imputed by conceptual thought is similar to mistaking a rope for a snake, but the existence or non-existence of pots and the snake in the rope, and their ability or inability to perform functions, are completely different. This is because whether or not it is necessary to define the terms for these two, and whether or not there is harm in applying the terms, are completely dissimilar in every way. That each of the imputations has its own valid function is a unique interpretation of the father and son Nagarjuna and Aryadeva by Buddhapalita, Shantideva, and this teacher among the commentators on words and meanings. This is also the most difficult point of the ultimate view of Madhyamaka. If it is done like that, then as it says in the Precious Garland: "Because the object of form is only a name, space is also only a name. How could form that is unproduced exist? Therefore, even the name is non-existent. Feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, and the arising of things like earth, should be thought of as like self, therefore the six elements are without self." And: "Apart from the imputation of terms, what exists or becomes non-existent? What is there for the sake of the world?" Thus, the ultimate truth.

There isn't even a name, and as it is said, it only exists as a mere designation of a name in terminology. If one understands these well, one will understand that all phenomena must be established dependently, designated dependently, and arise dependently, and therefore there is no establishment by own nature, and there is no independent own nature that is not established by other terminologies, and no matter how one establishes existence, if one establishes without seeking the meaning of what is established, these can be well understood. Secondly, the grasping at existence that is not merely established by the power of the terminology of names mentioned earlier is the innate grasping at being true, ultimate, and truly established, and existing by own nature, by own characteristic, and by own essence. The object of clinging grasped by it is the truth ascertained by analysis. Regarding the object to be refuted, adding the distinction of ultimate, it is the same here that one must know the two ways of the ultimate. Although the Svātantrika-Mādhyamikas consider it impossible for knowables to be established by the three, such as truth, they consider the three, such as being established by own nature, to exist in terminology. For those who cannot easily realize the extremely subtle suchness for a while, the method of leading them to it is seen as a great skill. Therefore, the nature of phenomena does not depend on the conceptualization of other objective terminologies, and that very nature that is not established by its power is called the "self" to be refuted. And the absence of it on the basis of the individual is the selflessness of the individual, and the absence of it on the phenomena such as eyes and ears is said to be the selflessness of phenomena. Therefore, grasping at the existence of that nature on the individual and phenomena implicitly realizes the grasping at the two selves. As it says in the commentary on the Śataśāstra: "That which is called self is the own nature of things that does not depend on others. The absence of it is selflessness. It is understood as two by the distinction of phenomena and individuals, namely the selflessness of phenomena and the selflessness of individuals." Like this, From this very text: "Phenomena and individuals, are spoken of as two by distinction." Thus, the two selflessnesses are not distinguished from the perspective of the object to be refuted, but are distinguished by the basis, the subject of phenomena. The innate view of self of the innate clinging to self fundamentally focuses on the aggregates.
