In the extensive explanation of Entering the Way of the Bodhisattva, "The Clear Illumination of the Intention," is the explanation of the fourth type of ultimate Bodhicitta. Fifth, explaining the fifth bhumi, the Difficult to Train Bhumi, divided into two: explaining the definition of the fifth bhumi, and elucidating that it excels in meditation and is skilled in the truth. First, the great being who abides in the fifth bhumi, the Difficult to Train Bhumi, even all the Maras who are the sons of gods residing in all realms of the world are not able to defeat him, what need is there to mention those servants and so on who listen to the commands of the Maras? Therefore, this bhumi is called the Difficult to Train Bhumi. The Ratnavali also says: The fifth is extremely difficult to train, Because it is extremely difficult for all to subdue, The meaning of the subtle truths of the Noble Ones, Because one becomes skilled in knowing them. By the ripening of that, One becomes a god-king of the Joyful Land, All the Tirthikas, The afflictions and views are reversed. So it is said. Second, in this fifth bhumi, among the ten paramitas, the paramita of meditation itself becomes most superior. When it is taught in this way that the four paramitas from generosity to diligence become superior, it is known that they have already been obtained from before. Therefore, it is known that it is among the remaining six. Moreover, it is as if the faults of the opposite side of the paramita of meditation, such as distraction, are never overcome, and it is obtained here. The paramita of wisdom and so on are not here. Not only is meditation superior, but also good intelligence, that is, the nature of the noble truths, that is, the subtle things that need to be thoroughly understood in detail, one also obtains extreme skill in realizing them. Therefore, here, one becomes a superior wise one who is skilled in the coarse and subtle truths. Here, compared to the tenth bhumi, the one on the fifth bhumi is skilled in the four truths of suffering, origin, cessation, and path. After that, the skill in the two truths, conventional and ultimate, is separately proclaimed. In The Meeting of Father and Son and Madhyamaka, it is definitely proclaimed that there are two truths, conventional and ultimate. Therefore, in response to the question, "Where are the four truths apart from the two truths?" the answer is: Although there is no truth that is not included in the two truths, in the category of all that is to be abandoned, the origin is the cause and suffering is the result; in the category of what is to be adopted and purified, the path truth is the cause and the cessation truth is the result.
