In the commentary, the word "also" is for accumulating the cause of patience. It is said that not only is it the cause of non-anger, but also what has just been said is the cause of patience. Because it is said "also for this," it should be translated as "through seeing that also." The second part is divided into two points: it is not appropriate to be angry, and it is appropriate to cultivate patience. The first part is divided into four points: there is no need and the faults are great, so it is not appropriate to be angry; revealing the contradiction between not wanting later suffering and retaliation; because it destroys the previously accumulated roots of virtue, it is not appropriate to be angry; thinking about the many faults of impatience, thereby preventing anger. The first point is: patience is not only a dharma that is in accordance with the minds of those who abide in the bodhisattva grounds, but it is also the cause of protecting all the qualities of others who are not in the grounds without exhausting them. Therefore, those who have impatience should return from anger, which is explained from "harm" to "quickly show." If harm has been done, then, blaming the harmer, that is, being angry, at that time, because the harm has already been done, it cannot be undone. Therefore, by blaming him, that is, directing hatred at him, the harm has already been done, can it be undone? It cannot be undone. Therefore, blaming him is definitely meaningless. Hatred refers to a rough mind towards the object, hard, with the same meaning as anger. Thus, not only is it unnecessary, but it also contradicts the benefit of the next life, because giving anger an opportunity will cause an unpleasant ripening result after death. The second point is: when one is enjoying the suffering of the fruit of previous misdeeds, due to ignorance, thinking that others have harmed oneself, for this thought, anger will arise towards the harmer, and wanting to avoid the suffering of harm later by retaliating, in order to prevent this thought, an explanation is given: the great suffering of harm to one's own body caused by enemies is the result of previous non-virtuous actions such as killing. Experiencing intense ripening results in the three lower realms such as hell, and for those who have residual effects of the corresponding result, the corresponding result is unpleasant.

What is the cause of reversing physical suffering? That which is intended to be said is that the remainder of karma is exhausted, that is, retaliation for harming others, and the anger of internal conflict, suffering more severe than that experienced here, again becomes the seed of suffering, that is, the cause itself, how to lead is reasonable, is unreasonable. Therefore, just as a doctor endures the pain of bloodletting with a sharp lancet as a means of healing disease, so too should one endure small immediate sufferings very much for the sake of reversing endless future suffering. The third part has two points: the meaning of the text and the explanation of the incidental meaning. The first point is: impatience is not only the sole cause of projecting unpleasant ripening, but also the cause of exhausting the accumulation of merit accumulated over a long period of time. To illustrate this: because the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, it is uncertain whether that place is a Bodhisattva, or even if it is certain to be a Bodhisattva, but because the habits of afflictions are too heavy, for the princes and Bodhisattvas who have generated the mind of Bodhi, exaggerating the faults of truth and untruth even more, even if the thought of anger only generates a moment of peace, even that alone will destroy the accumulation of merit accumulated over hundreds of kalpas, if it is not a Bodhisattva, let alone generating anger towards a Bodhisattva. Therefore, just as the amount of water in the ocean cannot be measured by scales, the limits of the ripening produced by anger towards a Bodhisattva cannot be determined. Therefore, if that is the case, projecting unpleasant results, and the sin of harming virtue, there is nothing more supreme than the anger of impatience. Exaggerating the faults of truth is to exaggerate the small into the large. This is the explanation in the commentary. Regarding the explanation of destroying the roots of virtue, it is also said in the Manjushri Play Sutra: Manjushri, anger, is called anger because it destroys the roots of virtue accumulated over hundreds of kalpas, so it is called anger. This is what the Buddha said. In that sutra
