Since the two are inseparable, although the two could not be measured at that time, it is not contradictory to know all past and future events with the wisdom of knowing the time today. For example, the sprout in the seed stage is not produced by the seed, but it is not contradictory for the seed to produce the sprout. Third, regarding all the qualities of the Buddha, even if the Buddha himself blesses his life for countless kalpas and quickly proclaims without exceeding other activities, the qualities will not be perfected, let alone the Bodhisattvas? Therefore, what need is there to mention whether the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas can thoroughly understand or proclaim the qualities? This point is explained through an analogy: Just as an eagle spreads its wide wings and uses the force of the wind to overwhelm the opponent and fly in the sky, the sky will not be exhausted and cause the king of birds to stop, but here, because of continuous flight, one day it will stop because its own strength is exhausted. Similarly, the disciple Shravakas and the Pratyekabuddhas together with them, and the sons of the Buddha who dwell on the great earth, will also stop without exhausting the Buddha's qualities, which are as boundless as the sky. This is not because the qualities are perfect, but because their own wisdom has declined. Because the qualities of the Buddha cannot be fully proclaimed, how much can commentators like me know and proclaim about these qualities of the Buddha? Or perhaps they cannot be proclaimed at all. Even so, I do not have the ability to understand the Buddha's qualities through my own power, but the reason why I have spoken of a few qualities without hesitation is because these qualities were proclaimed by the noble Nagarjuna, and it is based on him. Fourth, in short, in this treatise, the qualities of the Buddha are profound and vast. Among them, the profound is the emptiness Dharmakaya, and the emptiness of the basis and the path. Apart from that, the qualities and powers of the eleven bhumis and so on that are spoken of are vast qualities. By being skilled in understanding the principle of such profound and vast qualities, one can understand those two and attain Buddhahood through practice.

These two qualities of land will be obtained. Thirdly, now the manifested body appears commonly for the benefit and methods of the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Bodhisattvas, and also appears appropriately for the benefit of ordinary beings. It is explained on the premise of becoming a cause for good destinies and so on. Although the Dharmakaya has been attained, you, who possess an unmoving body, still abide in that sole Suchness, and descend into the three realms of the underground, the surface, and the upper ground. The manifested bodies descend from Tushita to the human realm, and show birth and so on, relating to parents and children, and in order to lead the enlightened ones into the city of peaceful Nirvana, they also turn the wheel of Dharma in accordance with the faculties of beings. Thus, you liberate the world, that is, the sentient realm with various behaviors, from hope, that is, the bondage of non-existence, with great compassion that does not depend on fame and benefit, and lead them into Nirvana. Regarding the explanation of "deceptive behavior," in the translation of the commentary, there is the saying "possessing various behaviors," which is in accordance with the commentary. Fourthly, after explaining the nature of the three bodies in this way, it is explained that explaining the One Vehicle as the Three Vehicles is intentional. For what reason? Because here, other than knowing the Suchness of all dharmas, there is nothing else that can completely remove the stains of the two obscurations, and there is nothing that is the main factor. The Suchness of all dharmas also does not depend on different forms of change, therefore, the wisdom that has Suchness as its object also does not become a different form of measuring the object. Therefore, you, the capable one, have taught the one vehicle that is not the same as any other vehicle, without any difference, for the beings to be tamed. As it is said in the sutra: "Light Protector, if one realizes the equality of all dharmas, then one attains Nirvana, and that is one, not two or three." The noble one also said: "Because the Dharmadhatu is without difference, you have no difference of vehicles. The teaching of the three vehicles is for the purpose of guiding sentient beings." Thus, it is taught in accordance with the Engaging in the Bodhisattva Deeds. They are that
