. In order to focus the mind on the bliss of quiescence, the two vehicles of the Hearer and the Solitary Realizer were taught to disciples, representing the Hearer and the Solitary Realizer. Then, for those who have cultivated minds that are completely separated from the afflictions of samsara, the Great Vehicle alone was taught separately, from the outside. Those individuals should also complete the accumulation of merit like the Buddhas, and attain Buddhahood without delay. The practice of the One Vehicle is from the Compendium of Sutras. The ultimate of the One Vehicle is taught in many sutras. This can be understood from these words. The fifth part has two sections: an explanation based on the time of manifest enlightenment, and an explanation based on the time of abiding. The first is: In as many Buddha-fields as there are in the ten directions, and as many atoms as there are in those fields, that is how many eons the Thus-Gone One spent attaining the supreme and excellent enlightenment. Although this is the case, this secret of yours should not be spoken, because those who have not accumulated merit in the past find it difficult to believe. For those who have particular faith, it is taught here in order to accumulate immeasurable merit. Explaining this, it is said that this is also one of the Dharmakayas of all the Buddhas, so it is said in this way. Otherwise, other Buddhas would not appear. This explanation is not reasonable, because the commentary says that it is in terms of the appearance of the Nirmanakaya. It is also unreasonable to explain that the cause of the appearance of the Nirmanakaya is referring to the Dharmakaya. If it is thought that the measure of attaining the Dharmakaya is that much, then there would be no opportunity for others to become Buddhas, because the same fault would apply there as well. If the Dharmakaya of all the Buddhas is one, then when the previous Buddhas attained Buddhahood, the Dharmakaya that had not previously attained Buddhahood and was going to attain Buddhahood would have already been obtained in advance, which is very contradictory. Therefore, this is showing the measure of attaining the essence of enlightenment, and it is not showing the length of time since previously attaining Buddhahood. This is showing the number of times the Nirmanakaya manifests enlightenment again at the Bodhi tree after attaining Buddhahood.

Yes. Thus, in the translation of Naktsang, it says: If the Buddha's lands and worlds, all ten directions without exception, then as many fine dust particles as there are, so many Sugatas, your supreme Bodhi will also appear as "future." If it is not done like that, but explained as an explanation, then it goes against the teaching in the root text that "do not speak this secret." The second point is: The measure of the future lifespan of the Buddhas is until all the beings to be tamed in the world enter the supreme state of perfect peace, before they become Buddhas; and until the unconditioned space is completely destroyed. Because the Buddha is born from the mother of Prajnaparamita and entrusted to the wet nurse of great compassion, he will do the behavior mentioned before. How can you have a tendency towards one side of peace like that? Because you don't. What is the compassion of the Buddhas who endlessly nurture these sentient beings in order to accomplish the benefit of all sentient beings? Due to the fault of the ignorance of clinging to reality, worldly people are attached to food, that is, the five desirable qualities, and eat it, which will become the cause of great suffering. Would you feel sorrow like a mother for her only son who is suffering from eating poison, for those who regard poison as their own people, even as themselves? No. Therefore, the protectors, the Buddhas, will not tend towards the most perfect side of peace. Because those who are not proficient in the meaning of Suchness, who cling to things as real, and who believe in cause and effect, and think that there are gods and humans, will surely suffer the pain of birth, old age, sickness, and death, and experience the pain caused by separation from lovely things and meeting with unlovely things. And those sentient beings who cling to the non-existence of cause and effect, who have wrong views, will obtain the evil realms such as hells where sinful people go, and the sufferings mentioned before. Therefore,
