Similarly, with your non-discriminating wisdom, until the end of samsara, the number of various activities you manifest in each moment is so great that it cannot be compared to the number of atoms in the entire Jambudvipa. The former is in terms of place, and the latter is in terms of time. The second part is divided into four aspects: briefly introducing the ten powers, explaining these contents in detail, elaborating on the way that all merits cannot be fully expressed, and elucidating the benefits of understanding the two merits. The first part is: Because the Buddha-ground is distinguished by the ten powers, the explanation is given to show some of its distinctions. The powers of the Buddha are: the power of knowing what is possible and impossible, similarly, the wisdom-power of knowing the ripening of karma, the power of understanding various inclinations, the power of knowing various realms, similarly, the power of knowing superior and non-superior faculties, the wisdom-power of knowing the path to all destinations, the wisdom-power of knowing dhyana, liberation, samadhi, and samapatti, etc., the power of knowing past lives, similarly, the wisdom-power of knowing death, rebirth, and existence, and the power of knowing the exhaustion of all defilements. These are the ten powers. The second part is divided into two aspects: explaining the five powers of knowing what is possible and impossible, etc., and explaining the five powers of knowing the path to all destinations, etc. The first part is: The Buddhas say that from a certain cause, a certain result will definitely arise, and that cause is the place of that result. For example, unpleasant results arise from non-virtue, and nirvana is attained through the path of the noble learners, and so on. The opposite of this is called the impossible, for example, unpleasant results arise from virtue, and after attaining the path of seeing, the eighth existence is accomplished due to karma, which is not a place and there is no opportunity. Like this, knowing the immeasurable knowable of what is possible and impossible, and having eliminated obstacles, that is, being unobstructed, is knowing what is possible and impossible.

It is said to be the power of knowing the results of actions. Desire, which is virtuous action, and non-desire, which is non-virtuous action, are the two unmixed ones. And the opposite of these two, which is mixed action, and the actions of the uncontaminated entities that exhaust the contaminated evil actions, and the extremely different kinds of maturation of that path, are also known to enter separately without obstruction. Comprehending all the knowable objects of actions and their results, which are included in the three times, that is considered the power of knowing the results of actions. Attachment and the afflictions such as hatred, which are represented by it, and the arising of faith and so on, which are included by "etc.", that is, the desire produced by the power of the seed, the extremely different kinds, the inferior, the medium, and any particularly superior desire, and the aspiration, and all the practices other than that, cover the seed of aspiration mentioned earlier, that is, the obscured aspiration, knowing that it goes in the three times, that is, entering, completely pervading the knowable objects of aspiration, is called the power of knowing various aspirations. By those skilled in the classification of all Buddha-fields, the six from the eye and so on, including the ear to the mind, the six from form to dharma, the six from eye consciousness to mind consciousness, and the nature of these, such as emptiness, whatever is said to be the element, in the good distinctions of the elements, the distinctions of all kinds, the infinite knowledge of the perfect Buddhas enters, and is considered the power of knowing various elements. The completely conceptualizing discriminations that especially impute what is not true, are called "faculties" because they have power to generate attachment and so on. The faculty of faith and so on, included by "etc.", being extremely sharp, is considered supreme. The state of the faculty being medium, and the state of the faculty being dull, are said to be non-supreme. And the twenty-two faculties such as the eye, and the mutual fruition of the faculties, that is, the ability to accomplish each of their own entities, the attachment to all aspects of knowledge, that is, without obstruction, that is said to be the power of knowing the supreme and non-supreme faculties. The second is, some paths.
