From this, the rain of the sacred Dharma naturally and manifestly falls. Therefore, this place is called the Cloud of Dharma. In the extensive commentary on Entering the Middle Way, "Illuminating the Intention," is the explanation of the tenth ground's true Bodhicitta. Third, explaining the qualities of the ten grounds is threefold: explaining the qualities of the first ground, explaining the qualities of the second to seventh grounds, and explaining the qualities of the three pure grounds. The first is: When the first ground of true Bodhicitta is attained, this first ground being, in a moment, an instant, a finger-snap, sees a hundred Buddhas, and those hundred Buddhas also bless him, and this Bodhisattva also understands, and while abiding on the first ground, he can abide for a hundred eons, and in a hundred eons, he can also truly enter into the beginning and the end. Its meaning is that in the hundred eons of the beginning and the end, he can also enter into the vision of wisdom. The wise Bodhisattva can enter into and arise from a hundred samadhis. This Bodhisattva can shake a hundred world realms, and can manifest a hundred world realms, and likewise, through miraculous powers, that Bodhisattva can ripen a hundred sentient beings, and can also go to Buddha-fields that are related to the number of hundreds, and that Bodhisattva can truly open up a hundred Dharma doors, and this son of the Able One can also manifest a hundred bodies on his own body, and each of the hundred bodies also manifests his own retinue related to a hundred Bodhisattva retinues, and is adorned and prosperous. The second is: The wise one, abiding on the Joyful Ground, having obtained those twelve hundred qualities, when moving to the second ground, just as explained on the first ground, abiding on the Immaculate Ground, can also truly obtain those twelve qualities. Those twelve qualities are the third ground, the fourth ground, the fifth ground, the sixth ground, the seventh ground, these five grounds.

For these, the five Bodhisattvas, in sequence, completely transform twelve hundred thousands, twelve hundred millions, twelve billion, twelve hundred million thousands, and twelve trillion trillions, that is, twelve hundred millions, and again correctly transform them into thousands, ultimately obtaining twelve trillion trillions. Thirdly, from the eighth ground onwards, these merits cannot be counted by numerical places, it is said that they can be completely counted by minute particles. The Bodhisattva who abides in the immovable ground, the eighth ground, who has no conceptualization of true clinging to self and phenomena, will obtain categories of merit equal to the number of all the minute particles in the three thousand great thousand worlds. The Bodhisattva who abides in the ninth ground, the ground of good intelligence, will correctly sum up the previously shown twelve categories of merit into countless million thousands, that is, ten trillion. He will obtain merits equal to the number of minute particles in countless hundred thousand three thousand great thousand worlds. Here in the tenth ground, the merit of that ground is that the realm of the twelve categories of merit previously mentioned will become extremely transcendent, and it is a sum that cannot be expressed in words, that is, obtaining merits equal to the number of minute particles in unspeakable unspeakable Buddha lands. For the time being, the word "for the time being" is used to indicate that for the tenth ground Bodhisattva, the merit mentioned here is not limited to this. That is to say, let's talk about these for now, and next we will explain the order of other merits. Furthermore, when this Bodhisattva manifests emanations, there will be no motive of thought, and in each pore of his body, there will be countless Bodhisattvas and fully enlightened Buddha bodies, as well as countless Bodhisattva retinues, and he will be able to manifest in different ways in every moment. Similarly, in addition to these, he can also manifest other five realms of samsara, gods and asuras.
