Explanation of the eighth generation of mind. Thirdly, on the ninth ground, the power of that Bodhisattva is such that all the perfections of power are completely purified. Regarding the ten powers explained in the perfection of power, as stated in "Ornament of the Thought of the Able One": Among them, the power of thought is because there is no pervasive affliction. The power of heightened intention is because the wisdom of the ground is completely cultivated. The power of dharani is because of not forgetting the Dharma. The power of samadhi is because of being constantly without distraction. The power of perfect attainment is because of being skilled in distinguishing the conduct of limitless and boundless world realms. The power of dominion is because of obtaining the fulfillment of all desires in the mind. The power of fearlessness is because of being skilled in distinguishing the practice of all Buddha-dharmas. The power of aspiration is because of not abandoning the practice of all Buddhas' conduct. The power of the perfections is because one's self can perfect the Buddha-dharma, perfect sentient beings, and not abandon the conduct of benefiting all sentient beings. The power of great love is because of not abandoning the supreme practice of protecting all sentient beings. The power of great compassion is because of eliminating all the sufferings of all sentient beings. The power of the nature of reality is because of manifesting the nature of reality such as illusion. The power of the blessing of all the Tathagatas is because of becoming manifestly inclined towards the omniscient wisdom of all aspects. These are the powers taught in the sutras. As it is said. With the perfection of the perfection of power, one also obtains the four completely pure qualities of the self-nature of the Dharma of individual perfect knowledge, namely the four individual perfect knowledges of Dharma, meaning, definitive words, and fearlessness. Among them, the first is to thoroughly know the individual characteristics of all Dharmas. The second is to know the distinctions of all Dharmas. The third is that the Dharmas are not

It is known to show separately like this. The fourth is, it is said in the self-commentary that one can understand well that the consistent cause of all dharmas is continuous. In other treatises, the dharma of the category of names, as well as things to be forgotten, as well as the definitive words of sounds, and inexhaustible courage, are all said to be wisdom. In the extensive commentary on Entering the Middle Way, "Clear Intentions," it is the explanation of the ninth ultimate bodhicitta. The fourth is, that bodhisattva who abides on the tenth bhumi, from all the Buddhas in all ten directions, obtains the great light empowerment, which is supreme. The way to obtain it is that when this bodhisattva obtains the last of the countless hundreds of thousands of samadhis, a samadhi called "endowed with empowerment without difference from all-knowing wisdom" will manifest. Then immediately after that, a great precious lotus equal to the size of ten hundred thousand three thousand great thousand worlds will appear, called "endowed with the best of all kinds of jewels," and extensively, it will be accompanied by a retinue of lotuses equal to the number of extremely fine dust particles measuring ten hundred thousand three thousand great thousand worlds. The body of that bodhisattva will also abide in accordance with it. As soon as that samadhi is obtained, it will universally appear to be sitting on that lotus. When he is sitting on it, from the urna hair of the Buddhas gathered from all Buddha lands, light will emanate and empower that bodhisattva. As it is said in the Dashabhumika Sutra. For this bodhisattva, among the ten paramitas, the prajna paramita is particularly supreme, that is, it is purified. The recognition of wisdom and the difference between it and the prajna paramita is: In the Bodhisattvabhumi, it is said: Knowing the arrangement of all dharmas as they are, is the prajna paramita. Among them, the wisdom that enters into grasping the ultimate truth is the prajna paramita. The one who enters into grasping the conventional truth is the wisdom paramita, and the difference between these two is like that. Just as rain clouds pour down rain to increase the crops of worldly people, so too, for the sake of increasing the virtuous crops of the beings to be tamed, the tenth bhumi bodhisattva.
