From page 501 to 605. Because, for the conventional world, as previously stated, when examined with the seven modes of seeking the meaning of the imputed, existence is not found, because of the very existence that is famous without examination. When a yogi examines the self and the chariot in the same way as before, with this sequence previously stated, only very quickly will the depths of that suchness be fathomed. How is that? If the chariot were established by its own nature, then when sought in seven ways, it would necessarily have to be found in one of the seven. However, the yogi does not find the existence of this chariot. At that time, how could that which is not found when sought in seven ways be said to exist by its own nature? It does not. Therefore, the so-called chariot being established by its own nature is only a conjecture made by the dimming of the eye of wisdom by the cataract of ignorance. The yogi will come to have certainty that being established by its own nature is not existent, and in that way, the yogi will also easily enter into that suchness. The word "also" summarizes that the arrangement of the conventional will also not be destroyed. Therefore, in this context of the Madhyamaka, the way in which that chariot is established should be understood as being established without examination. The wise ones of the Madhyamaka tradition should think that this side previously stated is without fault and has benefits, and should definitely accept it, so it is said. One should accept this faultless tradition into one's own tradition. One should not harm or revere it by saying, "This has no tradition." Secondly, here it is said, when a yogi examines as before, is it that the chariot is not observed, but only the collection of its parts is observed, and that is self-existent? You are seeking thread in the ashes of burnt cloth, which is something to be laughed at. If the chariot is not self-existent, then, since the entity on which the parts depend does not exist by its own nature, its parts also do not exist by their own nature. If the chariot is destroyed separately, are not its wheels and so on observed as a collection? Therefore, why do you say that without the entity on which the parts depend, there are no parts? That is not so,

To regard the separated limbs as parts of a chariot is solely because one previously recognized that these were related to the chariot. Therefore, one understands that the spokes, etc., are parts of the chariot. If one did not know this before, others would not. Because that person would observe the components of the spokes, etc., and would only understand the spokes, etc., as having parts. In that person's view, the connection between the spokes, etc., and the chariot is also completely abandoned at a distance. Therefore, at that time, they are not understood as parts of the chariot. Furthermore, if the chariot is not self-established, then its parts are also not self-existent. This meaning should be understood from this example. For example, if a chariot with parts is burned by fire, then the parts also disappear, i.e., are burned by fire. Similarly, the fire of wisdom that arises from rubbing the wood of analysis, realizing non-apprehension, when it burns the self-established chariot with parts without leaving anything behind, the parts that have become fuel for the fire of wisdom also cannot stand on their own, i.e., exist self-established, because they will certainly be burned by the fire of wisdom. Third, in order not to abandon conventional truth, and in order for yogis to easily enter Suchness, just as one considers the way of analyzing a chariot, relying on and establishing imputation. From the perspective of worldly convention, relying on the five aggregates of appropriation, the six elements, and similarly the six sense bases, I am also considered an appropriator like a chariot, because I am imputed as self based on them. Similarly, the aggregates of appropriation are karma, and this self is also the agent, thus it is established. Fourth, when establishing the self as relying on imputation, since it is not the basis for extreme clinging thoughts such as permanence and impermanence, it is said that it becomes easy to prevent the conceptualization of grasping impermanence, etc., as being self-established. This self, which is imputed as relying on the aggregates, is not self-existent as being permanent or impermanent. If the self exists as inherently impermanent
