That is to say. If it is thought that the collection is the self, then, the self is said to be the protector and the tamer or the lord. According to your view, the mere collection is not a protector, nor is it a tamer or a lord, because the collection is merely a non-existent dharma. The self is not merely a collection of aggregates. Regarding the way I am said to be a protector, etc., the sutra says: "One's own self is one's own protector, one's own self is also one's own enemy, for the good and evil that are done, one's own self is one's own lord." From there it is said to be the protector and the lord. "One's own self is well tamed, the wise will attain the higher realms." Thus it is said. The third is: If the collection is not different in essence from the one with the collection. The result, i.e., doing the protector, etc., will be understood to be of those with the collection, will it become the protector, the tamer, and the lord? My sound sometimes refers to the collection of aggregates, and sometimes to this which is close to the aggregates of the one with the collection, it has already been said before that it is unreasonable to combine my sound separately at will like that. There is another fault, if it is thought that the collection of aggregates is the self, then, the collection of parts of the chariot that abides in one direction will become the chariot itself, there is such a fault, because the chariot and I are the same with regard to whether or not they are established on their own collection of parts. The sutra also shows the similarity: "I, is the mind of the demon, you are the one who has become the seer. This aggregate of formations is empty, there is no sentient being in it. Like the collection of parts, relying on which the chariot is spoken of, similarly relying on the aggregates, conventionally it is called a sentient being." Thus it is said. The second is: As previously stated, the sutra says that relying on the collection of aggregates, it is nominally established as a sentient being, therefore, the accumulation of aggregates, i.e., merely the collection is not the self. It is clarified by the language that establishes it: That which is nominally established relying on what, that is not merely the collection of parts that is taken as the nominal, because it is nominally established relying on it, just like that which has changed from the elements. Like the elements as the cause, before that which has changed from the elements

Although things like pillars and eyes are established, those two are not merely the aggregation of elements like earth, water, fire, and wind. Similarly, although I am established as having the nature of relying on the aggregates as a cause, it cannot be that it is merely the collection of aggregates. If it is said in the sutra that it relies on the collection of aggregates, the collection cannot be a person. Similarly, it only says relying on the aggregates, etc., and there is no basis for establishing the collection of aggregates as the basis of a person. If you think like this, that is not right. For example, in the case of the analogy, just like relying on the collection of parts, it is said that it becomes a chariot by relying on the collection of parts. Therefore, when arranging the chariot and the meaning of the analogy, although the collection is not directly mentioned in the example of "relying on the aggregates, etc.", it is very clear that the collection must be supplemented. Therefore, the wise say that this is the method of deriving the meaning of the sutra's words. If you understand it carefully, it will generate joy in your heart. If you say that the vase, etc., are not certain, then that is not the case either, because it has not been established that the vase, etc., are merely a collection of form, etc., and there, like with "I", there is also debate and examination. This shows that just as "I" cannot be established on the collection of its own parts, the vase, etc., cannot be established on the collection of its own parts, and these two are the same. Third, if the collection of wheels, etc., is not a chariot, then what is it? When the wheels, etc., are gathered together, if they have a special shape of a chariot, then the name of the chariot can be obtained. Similarly, if you say that the arrangement of the shapes of the aggregates such as form, etc., in the continuum of sentient beings is me, because the shape only exists on form, according to your view, those forms themselves should be called me, and the collection of mind and mental factors cannot be established as me, because mind and mental factors have no shape, because they are not form. This is what I thought. Fourth, there is another fault, because this takes, so the taker is the agent "I", this is the taken,
