This is refutation. Firstly, if we consider the scriptures as प्रमाण (pramāṇa, valid cognition), then inference as प्रमाण (pramāṇa, valid cognition) does not cause harm, and the scriptures also only show the aggregates as self, because the Blessed One said to the monks, "Those who correctly contemplate 'I,' whether they are ascetics or Brahmins, only truly contemplate these five aggregates of clinging." Therefore, if it is thought that the sutra says the aggregates are the self, that the aggregates are the self, then, in that sutra, the aggregates are not shown as the self. What then? The Blessed One's intention is that considering a self with a nature other than the aggregates as the object of self-grasping is prevented by the restriction of "only," which is to refute the tenets of non-Buddhists based on conventional truth, and to accurately show the self that exists in conventional truth. Furthermore, how is it known that this is preventing a self that is different in nature from the aggregates? From other sutras such as "form is not self," it is known that form and so on are prevented from being the self. How is it prevented in other sutras? Because form and feeling are not self, perception is also not self, formations are also not self, and consciousness is also not self, as it is said in other sutras, therefore, when briefly showing "only truly contemplate 'I' in these five aggregates of clinging," it is not considered that the aggregates are the self, but only the word "only" prevents the belief in a self that is different in nature from the aggregates. If that sutra prevents the meaning of other self by saying "only contemplate," but the sutra says "only contemplate this aggregate," saying to contemplate the five aggregates, therefore, it clearly shows the aggregates as the object of self-grasping, if it is thought that the sutra's intention is that the aggregates are the object of self-grasping, then, if it is thought in this way, it will contradict another sutra that says the five aggregates are not self, because among the two objects of innate self-grasping, if it is an object, it must be the self. The meaning of the later sutra spoken in this way is not harmed, and the harm to the opposite meaning has been stated many times before, and will be explained in the future, therefore, the aggregates of the former sutra

It does not show the object of the view of the perishable. Therefore, it is clear that "viewing the aggregates" shows that the object is the self that is imputed based on the aggregates. Because this negates having a different entity from the aggregates, and the object of holding the aggregates themselves as the self. From which sutra is it forbidden that form, etc., are also the self? From that sutra, it should be known that the object of the view of the perishable, that is, the self that is imputed based on the aggregates, prevents the inherent existence of the aggregates of taking the aggregates. Because saying that form, etc., are not the self is the occasion for thinking about suchness. In this way, if the inherently established taker is not seen, then the aggregates, which are to be taken as the object of that self, are also not inherently existent. Thus, it is reasonable to be free from attachment to form, etc., as being true. It is good to arrange the points of each sutra, and to prevent having a different entity from the aggregates, and that the aggregates are the object of self-grasping. Therefore, the way of establishing the selflessness of the person who is imputed based on the aggregates, which is merely established by the power of names, is uncommon. Although the wise men of the upper and lower parts of their own sects have tried hard to explain the meaning of the sutras in various ways, the meaning of the sutras is clearly revealed. It is drawn from the path of unerring scripture and reason, and based on this, it also clearly shows the selflessness of other dharmas that are no different in the way of establishing them. Therefore, in order to fully reveal the extremely subtle points of the Buddha Bhagavan, one should strive to master these uncommon views of the wise. Second, if it is said that "only look at these five aggregates of close taking", although this shows the aggregates as the self from the perspective of establishment, it does not show that each aggregate is the self. What is it then? Like this, when it is said that "the aggregates are 'I'", it is said that the collection of aggregates is the self, but it does not show the nature of the aggregates, that is, each aggregate is the self. For example, when it is said that "trees are forests", it is the collection of trees that is the forest, but not every tree becomes a forest, so it is not said that the nature of every tree is a forest. Thus, with other established examples
