From the Sutra of Gyi: "Conditioned by ignorance are the formations." Similarly, this individual who is associated with ignorance performs meritorious formations, non-meritorious formations, and also performs unwavering formations. Thus it is said. Similarly, the Blessed One said, "With the cessation of ignorance, formations cease." Therefore, according to this reasoning, if it is said that the actions of formations arise dependent on delusion and ignorance, and without delusion that action does not arise, this is certainly understood only by the unwise, that is, from their perspective. When the wise see that "conditioned by ignorance are the formations," not only do they comprehend the emptiness of formations as being without inherent existence, but also with the sun of excellent wisdom that understands the suchness of dependent arising, they completely dispel and abandon ignorance, which is like dense darkness, and they do not draw near to the actions of formations, because they have abandoned the cause of drawing near to that action, which is ignorance. Therefore, they will certainly be liberated from samsara. In the Compendium Sutra it is said: "Whatever Bodhisattva knows this dependent arising with wisdom, without birth and without cessation, like the sun without clouds, radiating light and dispelling darkness, having destroyed the thick darkness of ignorance, will attain self-arising." Thus it is said. If that is the case, if objects such as form have no inherent existence in reality, just like the child of a barren woman, then in conventional truth, the nature of things like blue, that is, their essence, also becomes non-existent. Since the essence of things like form also exists in conventional truth, is it the case that their existence is by their own nature, that is, they exist in reality? To this it should be said: those hairs and so on that become the objects of minds with cataracts and so on, since they are unborn, being the same as the unborn child of a barren woman, why do you see non-existent objects such as hairs, but not see the child of a barren woman? For a while, one should first question those whose eyes are impaired by cataracts and so on, and then, why inherent existence

Just like being unborn, you see forms and so on, but why don't you see the son of a barren woman? For those who are obscured by the darkness of ignorance, which obscures the eye of wisdom, one should debate and investigate. For us, this is not something to be debated and investigated, because yogis see things in this way. Others who wish to attain the wisdom of yogis should also have more faith in the nature of the Dharma as it is spoken. Just as the scriptures say, through the wisdom of yogis, they understand and begin to explain that things have no inherent nature, not relying on their own knowledge, because we are those whose eyes of wisdom are obscured by the darkness of ignorance. As it is said in the sutra: The nature of the aggregates is peaceful and empty, the nature of enlightenment is empty and peaceful, and what is practiced is also empty in nature. Those with wisdom know, but children do not. The nature of wisdom will become knowing emptiness. After knowing that the nature of knowable things is empty, if one realizes like a wise person, then they are called practitioners of the path to enlightenment. It is said like this. Therefore, this is not a debate and investigation for yogis, because they do not see any Dharma as having an inherently established nature, even in conventional truth, and they do not see anything in ultimate truth. Let alone debating and investigating those who are obscured, this is first and foremost a debate and investigation for yourself. If dream houses and cities of gandharvas are seen, as well as men and women conjured by magicians, and water in mirages, and faces seen in reflections, and echoes in rocks and illusions, etc., when seeing the unborn, that is, non-existence, although it is the same as non-existence itself, why do you see those things, but not the son of a barren woman? That is unreasonable. So first debate and investigate yourself, and then debate and investigate me. Therefore, in reality, forms and so on are unborn in any way, but why, like the son of a barren woman, does the world
