It has been shown that there is transformation. The previous explanation is from the perspective of negation, and the subsequent explanation is from the perspective of affirmation. Therefore, for entering into samsara, mind itself is the main cause, but other than mind is not the main cause. Therefore, in the sutras, only mind is regarded as the main thing, not form. If someone thinks that form exists, but even so, that form does not have the role of an agent of going like the mind. Therefore, the agent other than the mind is rejected, that is, blocked. The external form is not blocked. Here, some Samkhyas and others consider the chief and so on as agents, and some Buddhists consider the mind as the agent, and there is no dispute that form is not the agent. Therefore, there is doubt, that is, investigation, as to whether the chief and so on are agents by others. In order to eliminate the characteristic that the agent does not have the chief and so on, it is seen in name that it is capable of being an agent. When only the mind is said to be the agent, it eliminates the possibility that the chief and so on are agents. The chief and so on The place of dispute where the object is removed can be considered as suppressing the opponent's territory. Just as among two kings who both want to rule one place, one competitor is eliminated, the eliminated one obtains his own territory, and for the needs of both, the ordinary people are not harmed, so too, here, for the needs of both, there is no harm to form, so it must be determined that form exists. The second point is that, therefore, according to the reason stated earlier, for worldly people who abide in the conventional truth, the external aggregates of form and so on are known in the world, that is, all five aggregates exist. When one wants to generate the wisdom that directly realizes suchness, the yogi, when in meditative equipoise, those five aggregates will not appear to him. Because that is the reason, if one thinks that external form does not exist, then do not cling to the mind as existing. Even if one clings to the inner mind as existing, do not cling to the external form as not existing. When analyzing with the reason of seeking the meaning of the imputed, if one realizes that external form does not exist, then at that time, the existence of both inner and outer is reasonable, and one is separated from the accomplishment of karma.

Therefore, it is also necessary to realize the state of mindlessness within. Moreover, when realizing the existence of mind, it is also necessary to realize form, because both are widely known in the world. Here, The Mind-Only school believes that there is a difference between form and mind in terms of existence and non-existence. The so-called formlessness refers to the formlessness of external objects. As it is said, "Without external objects to grasp, from its own seeds, the appearance of blue and so on arises." In its commentary, it is also said, "Without external forms such as blue." Regarding what is to be negated by formlessness, the difference of external objects is mentioned. Also, in the commentary, it is said, "The word 'only' cannot prevent the knowable." From explaining it in other ways, it also shows that it is impossible to prevent external objects. Therefore, it is said that preventing form is not the original intention of the sutra, and the so-called preventing form refers to preventing external objects. If it is not like this, but only understood according to the literal meaning, then since it is said that "the word 'only' cannot prevent the knowable," it should also be said that the Mind-Only school uses the word 'only' to prevent the knowable of the mind. If the Mind-Only school does not admit the existence of form, then when the Mind-Only school elaborates on the reasoning for establishing the Alaya consciousness, the *Compendium on the Great Vehicle* says, "The one who connects the continuum, the senses that have been connected, the one who holds form, it is unreasonable that there is no different ripening consciousness other than this." And "Consciousness, name, and form, like a spear and a house, the one who enters relying on the other, if there is no different ripening consciousness, it is also impossible to proceed." These will all become contradictions, because admitting the existence of form, one must admit the existence of external objects. Therefore, even if one admits that name and form arise due to consciousness, one should not conversely say that one does not admit the existence of external objects. When elaborating on the unique views of the Mind-Only school, there are very many such statements. The sutras also say that the meaning of external objects is the same as the existence or non-existence of inner knowledge, and one should realize it in this way. Like this, the five aggregates such as form, in the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Buddha equally abandoned the inherent nature of all five.
