No one accepts it. The Vaibhashikas also acknowledge that the permanent dharma is capable of acting, and they consider the permanent to be that which is free from destructible, obstructive tactile sensations. The conceptualization that arises in an autonomous manner is only believed by fools. The conceptualization believed by the wise is that which has been well-established by the measure that encompasses the general and the specific, which are the destructible things to be refuted. To believe that the permanent has not been established by measure is accompanied by many logical flaws. If the universal is wandering and is held by the universal-grasping consciousness as the object to be grasped, there are other faults as well, namely, how is it determined that the appearance of the blue and other aspects appearing on that consciousness of universal-grasping consciousness are the aspects of color, etc., that can be expressed? It is not the universal, because the universal is considered to be empty of color, shape, etc. It is not clear, because the universal is wandering and does not appear. If the manifest or clear object is dependent on the auxiliary condition of the senses such as the eye, and the hidden object, which grasps its own characteristic and is generally not clear, is dependent on the auxiliary condition of expressive speech, and both take their own characteristic as the object to be grasped in the same way, then wouldn't the collection of senses such as the eye become meaningless? The answer to this is that if the appearance of clear and unclear differences is due to focusing on one object, then it is unreasonable to make an unreasonable inference. Because one person sees one thing such as impermanence, which was previously unclear, but later appears clearly due to the power of habituation. It is also unreasonable to make an unreasonable inference that there is no difference between clear and unclear. Because there are differences such as near and far. It is not possible to have clear and unclear. Because when looking at the same object from near or far, the eye consciousness sees the difference between clear and unclear. Then, since that object taken by the universal-grasping consciousness is also held by the sense consciousness as the object to be grasped, it is unreasonable to make an unreasonable inference that the appearance of clear and unclear differences is unreasonable. In this way, the debate and refutation derived from the sentence "What is said is not real because it is that" are explained in detail. Next, the second reasoning for proving the non-reality of the universal characteristic is shown, namely, "What else is there in this lineage besides clarity," etc. All above and below are

The Samkhyas who believe that the general clarity substance is one, and the Vaisheshikas who believe that substances are different, establish their systems and refute them. Among them, the Samkhyas believe that the nature of things that are truly established is also called the "chief," and it is also the general that follows all the transformations. The way of following is that the nature of blue is the nature of yellow, and the nature of yellow is the nature of blue. If this is the case, then the nature of the clear blue of the genus is not likely to follow all the blue, yellow, etc. Because the essence of the manifestation, blue, does not depend on the other followers such as yellow. Or, the nature of blue is the nature of yellow, and the nature of yellow is the nature of blue, so the kind of transformation is unreasonable. Because the essence or nature of the manifestations does not depend on each other, because the manifestations do not follow each other internally. The Vaisheshikas say that the fault of the general clarity substance being one will become like that, and we have no fault that the general clarity substance is different. If this is the case, then it is not permissible to directly say that the general of this manifestation is this. Because the general clarity substance is different, it is not permissible to apply the general mind that this is a vase to the manifestations of the vase, etc., and the general and the manifestation will become unrelated, because it is not a one-self relationship, nor is it a relationship arising from that. Because the general manifestation is independent, it is not reasonable to establish a truly existing relationship, like "penetrating" and "snow mountain." If the manifestation is the object of dependence of the other general, and the general is the dependent dharma, even if the general becomes the result of the manifestation, that is not reasonable, because the general itself is a constant dharma, and whatever is not a cause-and-effect relationship is independent. If this is the case, because there is no relationship, the truly existing relationship of "the general of the manifestation" is unreasonable. After refuting the establishment of the truly existing cause-and-effect relationship, refuting the establishment of the truly existing relationship of the general manifestation is, other, temporary, etc. Because the sprout has already arisen from the seed, it is not necessary to depend on it, and taking the reserved doctrine as the meaning is, arising from the cause.
