Firstly, there are two aspects. The nature does not require causes and conditions, and it is shown to be contradictory. It shows the definition of the nature of one's own system. Firstly, if phenomena and sprouts, etc., have inherent existence, then it is not reasonable for them to arise from causes and conditions such as ignorance and seeds, because that which inherently exists does not need a producer. If it exists before arising, then arising becomes meaningless, but if one thinks that only the nature that does not exist before arises in dependence on causes and conditions, then, because it arises from causes and conditions, the nature of the result becomes something made. If one thinks that being something made is only our assertion, then how can one say that it is both something made and inherent existence? It cannot be said, because they are mutually contradictory. Among them, artificial and non-artificial are real contradictions, so if one is determined on one basis, the other must be completely eliminated. Artificiality pervades the made, while nature, that is, essence, pervades the unmade, so being made and being essence cannot coexist on one basis. In the world, just as the heat of water and ke-ke-ru, etc., are transformed by counterfeiters into artificial rubies, etc., one does not say that those are their nature. Then, in the world, the nature of the heat of fire and rubies, etc., is said to be their nature, so how can whatever is made not be essence? In the world, the term nature or essence is not used for the artificial, and this is also admitted here. If that is the case, although the heat of fire is known in the world as the nature or essence of fire, that is also not the essence of fire, because it is devoid of the definition of essence. Because fire appears in dependence on causes and conditions such as fire mirrors, and its heat is also the same as that. Because it is something made, it is definitely not nature, just like the heat of water. Here, although the heat of water and the heat of fire are both produced by causes and conditions, they differ in whether they are artificial or not, so whether they are nature or not also differs, although worldly people think so. However, those who assert entities say that water is born hot and fire is born hot, whether it is born by nature or not
