Because it is false, the previous examples are meaningless, and clinging in a non-empty way only breeds the disease of afflictions. Secondly, although all formations are not established by their own nature, they appear as such, and for those that exist by their own nature, there can be no other change. The emptiness that is empty of truth, showing that there is no truth, these can also be established by profound scriptural statements, which have been explained many times before, and should be understood accordingly. Thirdly, the false way of falsehood is that, although it is not established by its own nature, it appears as such, and all actions are suitable for it, so the meaning of falsehood does not mean that all things of action are empty, but that other changes and impermanence are also the same as this. For falsehood, the emptiness that prevents true establishment, although it is not truly established, it is not that it is not established. Therefore, those who seek liberation, through what they focus on and meditate on, can exhaust the obscurations, and the goal of the path, must be sure of these principles. The explanation of the thirteenth chapter of "Analysis of Formations," which is the nature of eight verses called "Analysis of Formations." Secondly, refuting the proof that things exist by their own nature is divided into three parts: refuting that contact exists by its own nature; refuting that the holding of causes and conditions exists by its own nature; refuting that bondage and liberation exist by their own nature. The first part is divided into three parts: explaining the text of the treatise; combining it with the definitive meaning of the scriptures; summarizing the meaning and indicating the name. The first part is: here it is said that things exist by their own nature, because their contact is shown, as it is said in the Sutra Pitaka: relying on the eye and form, the consciousness of the eye arises, and the three aggregates produce contact. What arises together with contact is feeling, which appears extensively. Similarly, these two dharmas, feeling and consciousness, are in contact, not not in contact. And the subsequent attachment, anger, and ignorance, these pervasive calculations combine them. Because contact is spoken of for formations. The refutation of such a thought is divided into two parts: refuting that contact is established by its own nature; thereby also showing that contact and so on are also negated. The first part is divided into two parts: establishing the proposition; showing the proof.
