Again, it is peace itself. As answered in the Commentary, the reasoning that refutes through examination does not harm the principle of dependent arising and causality in the slightest. Moreover, it shows that principle very clearly, so it should be known that this is to strengthen the certainty of dependent arising. It is because it uses dependent arising as a reason to refute existence by its own nature. It is also said in the Questions of Undrosh: 'Whatever is born from conditions is unborn. There is no birth by its own nature in it. Whatever depends on conditions is said to be empty. Whoever knows emptiness is mindful.' Thus, the very reason of being born from conditions prevents birth by its own nature. Moreover, the meaning of 'unborn' stated in the first line is explained by the second line, 'there is no birth by its own nature,' so when preventing birth, the difference of what is to be prevented is added. Then, the third line says that depending and relying on conditions is the meaning of being empty of its own nature, which shows that emptiness of its own nature is the meaning of dependent arising, and not the loss of the ability to function. In the Sutra Compiled from All Sutras, it is also said: 'Bhagavan, all dharmas are without own-nature because they arise dependently.' 'Bhagavan, whatever is defiled or purified is the meaning of arising dependently, the meaning of non-existence.' 'Bhagavan, the wise understand the meaning of non-existence as the meaning of arising dependently. The wise do not now discriminate that non-existence is the meaning of arising dependently.' It should be understood as quoted from the Sutra Teaching the Accumulation of Jewels. The meaning of the last sentence is that the emptiness of its own nature is the meaning of dependent arising, which is also established in name, so do not cling to it as true. Therefore, non-existence is not a non-existence of nothing at all, but a non-existence of being established by its own nature, so all causes and effects can be placed on it. For those who think that there is no difference between non-existence by its own nature and non-existence, the meaning of emptiness of its own nature becomes the meaning of not being able to place any establishment, and it does not become the meaning of dependent arising, so one should strive to understand the ultimate of reasoning—the reasoning of dependent arising. Second, if there is birth

Pana, etc., are unreasonable because saying that a vase is being produced means that the vase is just about to appear. If it is said that relying on the production of the vase, the vase is being produced, and that which is being produced is also produced by production, then, if some unproduced things of the vase existed in some place before the vase was produced, then, relying on the action of that production, it would be produced. If such a thing did not exist even a little before it was produced, then what would be produced? This will not change, because the basis of production that this production speaks of did not exist before. What was said when this, my thing, existed or did not exist, was also to prevent production by relying on causes and conditions, but here it prevents the production of the result by the production spoken of in the definition of conditioned phenomena, so it does not repeat. Therefore, it should also be known that preventing production in dependent origination and preventing production in this discourse, and others, do not repeat. Regarding which of the two, production producing the result and not producing by causes and conditions, is prevented, the most difficult to prevent is the production of the sprout that is being produced, etc. Because this itself also admits in name, if the subtle points of how to prevent the other party's view are not distinguished, then everything that is prevented for the other party will also apply to oneself. Therefore, when it is said that wool is produced, it must be admitted that it is both wool and production, and that there is no temporal sequence between the two. For those who admit that the production of wool exists nominally, it is not contradictory that there is no temporal sequence between the two. However, if it is thought that the production of wool exists in reality and in its own nature, then it must be thought that the wool is produced after the wool has been established, so it is contradictory that there is no temporal sequence between the two. Therefore, when preventing production from being established in reality by things not being produced, etc., it must be thought that the basic thing of production already existed before it was produced, and now it is about to be produced, which shows that the time of the establishment of the thing and the time of production must be thought to have a temporal sequence. If it is admitted that the two times have a temporal sequence, it is easy to prevent, so for the realists who say that the result does not exist at the time of the cause, the two times
