Because of not wanting it. Therefore, for someone who has not accepted either what is analyzable or its pervasion, how can that which is not found by analyzing with reason become a harm? Because for arising, ceasing, and merely abiding, it is not necessary to find them with rational cognition. You, however, consider arising, ceasing, etc., as analyzable, and also accept its pervasion, so if you don't find it when analyzing as before, it is a harm, because if those exist as they are accepted, they must be found by those reasons, but they are not found. In the Clear Words, as a reason why the fault of refuting the other party is not the same for oneself, it is stated that one does not accept what is analyzable and accepts it as one makes worldly statements without analyzing. One should answer in that way, if the reason for analyzing holds that all arising, ceasing, and abiding have been refuted, and then establishes acceptance, then seeing that all the faults established for the other party enter equally, one should not say that there is no self-established system. This must be understood to apply to all debates, that is, the boundary is distinguished by how much one refutes or does not refute, and it depends on distinguishing between what is not analyzable by reason and what is harmed by reason. The third part has two: what comes from the Clear Words and what comes from the commentary on the Sixty Stanzas on Reasoning. The first is: Here in the commentary it says: If one accepts that destruction is without a cause and speaks of conditioned things as momentary, then because there is no cause, there is no destruction, so how can things that are momentary and separate from destruction be established as conditioned? Therefore, all those are not reasonable, thus it is refuted. To this, those who say that destruction is without a cause, think that the destruction that does not remain in the second moment from the time of its own establishment is born from the cause of the thing itself, so they think that there is no cause that arises later other than that cause, and the destruction in the second moment is unreal, so they say that there is absolutely no cause. Therefore, for those who say that destruction is without a cause, if things do not have momentary destruction, they cannot be established as conditioned, and it is not reasonable to say that conditioned things are momentary, if one thinks that showing this is reasonable? To this, whether there is destruction or not, whether it is produced by a cause or not, will be discussed similarly below, if there is no cause for not remaining in the second moment, then there must also be no cause for not remaining in the second moment, so it will become without a moment, and that

If one thinks like that, then conditioned phenomena cannot be established, and it is also unreasonable to say that conditioned phenomena are momentary. This is refuted by reasoning, and the refutation by scripture is: it is said that "aging and death arise from the condition of birth," and that the characteristics of conditioned phenomena are all included in the aggregate of formation. Hasn't the Blessed One clearly stated that destruction has a cause? Death is the destruction of sentient beings, and it is said that it arises from the condition of birth, so it can be determined that destruction is produced by a cause. The four characteristics of nature, birth, abiding, decay, and aging are said to be the aggregate of formation. Taking blue as an example, blue has four functions such as the function of birth, so blue can be regarded as a conditioned phenomenon. However, since the agent, blue itself, contradicts its own function, these four functions are not the form aggregate, nor are they feeling, perception, consciousness, and associated formations, but non-associated formations. However, blue is newly born without having existed before, exists in its own time, and is the destruction that does not remain in the second time after its own time, and is also the aging that changes from the previous state to another state. Therefore, it cannot be said that all of blue's birth, etc., are non-associated. For the function of blue's destruction, there is destruction in its second time. If that is non-associated, then it must be created by its own causes and conditions, so it can be determined that destruction has a cause. The reason why destruction must be established because it is the function of blue's destruction is: blue shows that the non-destruction in its own time and the destruction in the second time are the same in terms of whether things exist or not. If so, then its destruction will also become its impermanence. The meaning of the stated nature of conditioned phenomena refers only to a symbol that can be recognized as a conditioned phenomenon by being associated with those functions, and not an establishment like the distended belly being the nature of a vase, because in that case, impermanence would become without the establishment of momentariness. According to the reasoning of "aging and death arise from the condition of birth," the destruction in the second time only depends on the arising in the first time and does not need to depend on others. Therefore, the momentary destruction of things not staying in the second time is also easy to establish. Therefore, in this view, all of this will be well established. If it is said that the destruction of a sprout is non-existent, then what cause does it need?
