If it is thought that the statement "apart from what has been gone and what has not been gone" is not established because it is not the ungone of what has been gone and the unarisen. Then, the foot is also nominally established by the collection of minute particles, therefore there are many front and back parts. At that time, the back side of the particle located on the toe of the foot belongs to the category of what has been gone, and the front side of the particle located on the heel belongs to the category of what has not been gone, and since there is no foot apart from the particles, there is no walking apart from what has been gone and what has not been gone. In the Clear Words, it is similarly said: "By that, it is not appropriate to prevent the three aggregates of non-two, if it is appropriate, then it will also be impossible for the foot to tread on the area from the heel to the tip of the toe, because each of the front and back parts has not been trod on, and there is no foot apart from those parts." Although the front and back sides of the toe and heel belong to the category of what has been gone and what has not been gone of those two, the doubt of holding the area trod on by those two as the three aggregates of non-two cannot be eliminated, which is similar to the foot. Furthermore, if there is no path being walked, then there is no present path, and if so, there will also be no past path of action that has ceased and no future path of action that has not arisen. If it is said that what has been gone and what has not been gone are spoken of in the Clear Words in relation to action that has ceased and has not arisen, and if there is no path of walking that is neither of those two, then the fault as mentioned above will occur. However, here it is not said that there is no path of walking that is neither of those two, but the self-existence of the path of walking is prevented, thereby preventing the act of walking on it. That is to say, the path trod on by the foot, the back of the foot trod on by the toe is the action of walking of that part that has ceased, and the front of the foot trod on by the heel is the action of walking of that part that has not arisen, therefore in relation to those two, the intermediate path is not the three aggregates of non-two of action that has ceased and has not arisen. If there exists something that is neither of those two parts, the self-established nature of the foot itself, then in relation to the parts, the intermediate path is not non-two, but in relation to the foot that has parts, even if there exist the three aggregates of non-two, because there is no self-established nature of the foot that is neither of those two parts, therefore in relation to it, the self-existence of that path while walking is not established. If the intermediate path

If we consider the two parts, front and back, there are no three heaps. If we think that the front and back parts press down, then when we look at each of them individually, we might think there are three heaps. As the commentary explains the front and back parts of the foot, we should also examine the dust of the toes and heels in the same way, that is, we should examine them in relation to the parts of the east and west directions. The reasoning that prevents what is being born, as previously explained, can also be refuted. For example, if someone says that what is born and what is not born do not arise, but the sprout that is growing arises, then the way in which the three heaps are contradictory or not is the same as before. Furthermore, if no part of the sprout has arisen, then it is unborn; therefore, it must be assumed that some parts have arisen and some parts have not arisen are growing. At that time, half has arisen and half has not arisen, and since there is no sprout other than these two parts, there is no growing that is neither born nor unborn. Similarly, when we look at the two parts of the foot, front and back, it is either gone or not gone. Since there is no foot that is neither of these two parts, the walking that is half gone and half not gone is also non-existent. The parts of the foot are not the foot, and there is no foot other than those parts. Therefore, it can prevent the foot from being established by its own nature, but it cannot prevent the foot itself, which has already been said and will be said again, so it is not mentioned here. Therefore, that reasoning prevents the path that the foot treads on from existing as three heaps in its own nature in relation to the foot that has parts. Since gone and not gone are contradictory, it does not prevent the three heaps. For the commentary itself says that the cessation of the activity of going and the unborn are gone and not gone, and the activity of going that is now being grasped is walking. Here, some say that the parts of the foot are not the foot, and there is no foot other than those parts, so there is no foot; and each part does not tread on the path from the heel to the toe, and there is no treader other than those parts, so it is impossible to tread on the path. They say the same thing in other contexts and claim to be explaining the meaning of Madhyamaka, but in reality they are in a great error of explaining dependent arising as the meaning of Madhyamaka. The second part has two parts: the first is the previous view, and the second is the reasoning that prevents that view.
