Of the mind. The thought will never arise. All elaborations are the manifestations of the mind, therefore, all phenomena should be realized as inconceivable. Thus it is said. The meaning of the two lines "Whatever things" is not to show that focusing on emptiness is entering a wrong path, but to show that those who focus on emptiness, which is blocked by the two "Whatever is peaceful," are entering a wrong path by clinging to it as real. Furthermore, by "without letters," it is shown that those who show that all phenomena are empty by nature are also said to be selflessly self, which is the basis for refuting reality on non-reality, and reality is not established. Third, as mentioned earlier, it is unreasonable to investigate in this way, therefore, space is not inherently existent in any of the four: things, non-things, characteristics, and nature, thus summarizing the foregoing. The term "expressed" widely known in Tibet is also used as "characteristics" in this and many other Chinese classics, and the etymology of the two is the same, therefore, in the connection of the same expression, it is unreasonable to say that the characteristics and the expressed are contradictory. Others also say that it is unreasonable to make the expression and the expressed into three bases because the former is the reason, just as when establishing a proposition with a reason, there are three: the proposition, the reason, and the basis, it should also be feasible to interpret the expressed with nature. If so, then what is said should also become three, which is what is desired. Since the etymology is the same, if the two meanings are the same, it is not possible to establish the other, and there are many such cases. Second, the five elements, such as earth, other than space, all the remaining ones should also be known to be empty like space, because they exist by nature of things and non-things, as well as the nature of characteristics and nature. Among them, before the nature of the earth element, there is no earth at all. Thus, the earth element is not a thing. Such connections are made in the same way for others. In the Dharma Abhidhamma, the internal and external places are the realm and the realm-holder, the aggregates are the cause and effect, and the nature of the six elements, as shown, in order to prevent clinging to existence by their own nature, direct and unique reasonings are needed.

Verses. Since all three types of clinging to truth arise in all three dharmas, it is necessary to show the reasoning for preventing them in all three dharmas, so it is not definite. Secondly, since it is not appropriate for the four dharmas to exist inherently, the eye of wisdom is obscured by the haze of ignorance. From beginningless time, one is accustomed to wrongly viewing things as existent or nonexistent. Any small-minded person who cannot see non-inherent existence as it is, goes against the path of liberation. If those with weak minds do not understand the extremely profound dependent origination, they will cling to things as existent, i.e., permanent, and nonexistent, i.e., annihilated, thus blinding their eyes of wisdom. They will not see the object of contemplation, nirvana, which is near and peaceful, of the nature of peace, free from all concepts, turned away from all the elaborations of knower and known, the ultimate nature of emptiness. Buddhapālita said: If there were no aggregates, elements, and sources, then the Victorious One would have mostly based his teachings on them, which would become meaningless. The answer to this argument is: We teach the elimination of the two extremes of existence and nonexistence, but we do not say that they are nonexistent, so our teachings do not become meaningless. For those who cling to the extremes of existence and nonexistence, teaching the Dharma will become meaningless, because those who hold such views will not attain nirvana. This explanation is the answer to the arguments of all three treatises. Secondly, the negation of characteristics, signs, and the nature of existence and nonexistence in the six elements is not just by reasoning, but is established by definitive scriptures. And this treatise will explain all the scriptures that negate such a nature in the elements. To indicate this, I will only mention the aspects that are in accordance with the definitive scriptures. One should not dwell on the extremes of existence and nonexistence, as quoted earlier from the Samadhiraja Sutra and others. Also, in the Brahma Visesacinta Sutra, it is said: What is the internal earth element, and what is the external earth element? It is the meaning of non-duality. The Tathagata, with wisdom and knowledge, fully awakened to non-duality, non-difference, and one nature, that is, without characteristics. And it also says: The nature of space in the world, but space also has no nature. That
