then it is thrown back with refutation. If they are established separately by their own characteristics, then like a pot and cloth that do not depend on each other, they become unrelated by reason. If you think that we do not want the agent and the action to be established as different entities, and because the two are different in expression, we do not want them to be one either, so even if both do not exist, both are established, then, which of the agent and the action are things, that is, one in nature, and which are things, that is, different in nature, if they are not established as one or different, then please tell me how the two exist by their own nature, therefore that is only an examination. If one and other are distinguished by valid cognition, then the three aggregates that exist by nature must also be reversed in consciousness, but here the two are not established, but it is held that they exist by nature, how can this be? If it is thought that the names of things do not have different objects of knowledge, but are held to be the meaning of one, and the meaning of other that is unrelated, even if the two are not established, it is thought that they exist by nature, then, the one nature and the other nature are negated by valid cognition, and the doubt does not arise because of this. It should also be known that the Sthavira school says that the person is neither permanent nor impermanent. Second, here, the goer, Devadatta, goes, is well known in the world. To this, the speaker speaks words. The agent does the action, because he is the speaker, so he speaks the words themselves, similarly, because he is the goer, so the going by which the goer is established, that going itself is the going, therefore it will not become the fault of saying so. If it is thought that by what action of going the goer is clearly shown, then that going which has become the goer is not going, that is, it will not become going, or it is not the action of going, because in this way, if the goer exists before the action of going, then that goer will go on that path, just as seeing a certain Devadatta going to a village or city of other meaning, because before the action of going, there is no goer who does not depend on it. If the action of establishing the goer itself is the agent of the goer going, then there is a before and after between the two

This necessary question is directed at the act of going, which is established by its own nature, and not because it is considered so in name. How is it understood? For example, when saying "a sprout grows," if the sprout to be grown does not exist before the growth, then growth is not reasonable; if it already exists, then there is no need for it to grow again. This is like refuting the establishment of growth by its own nature. Similarly, for Lhasbyin, who is to be designated as the goer, if the act of going does not exist before it arises, then he should not go; if it already exists, then he is already established as the goer, so there is no need to go again. If even after being established as the goer, he still needs to go, then the act of designating the goer itself is not what causes him to go, so it must be established beforehand. Both teachers have explained as before, but in the "Lamp of Wisdom," in the passage "If that is the case, when there is no going," although it is explained that the goer and the going are contradictory and repetitive, that is because it refutes that it exists in the meaning of the word for the act of going, but not in the meaning of the word for the agent, so it is very different from this. If it is thought that the act of designating the goer itself is not going, but another second act different from it is going, then the act by which the act of going makes the goer manifest, that second act different from it is also not the agent that causes that goer to go, because it is unreasonable for a single goer to have two acts of going. For this, too, as before, there is the fault of repetition, and the other act is not refuted, and since it is promised that there is only one act of going, therefore, since it is connected with it, the fault of the goer being established as going exists, although it is explained in this way, the first fault is the same as before, and it points out the harm of the act becoming another meaning, and it throws the opponent's unwanted "one goer will have two acts of going." It is only throwing, so there are no those faults. The previous ones said that neither the upper nor lower scriptures promised that going is an act, but refuted the task to be accomplished by the goer, which is also unreasonable, because it is very clear that the refutation is done after examining whether the act of designating the goer itself is going. The speaker speaks words, the cutter performs the act of cutting trees, and so on.
