Because it is shown very extensively, there is a distinction for the trainees to be tamed. In the Commentary, it is also said that the meaning of peace is to be free from all harm such as birth and death. Secondly, the dependent arising shown here as the basis of distinction is explained in the commentary as the dependent arising of conditioned phenomena. Among them, meeting, dependence, and reliance are synonymous, so the meaning of the word reliance exists in all knowable things, and there are two ways of arising, namely birth, although it does not exist in non-conditioned phenomena, the situation of achieving by relying on it also exists, for which there is the following explanation: The agent relies on the action, and the action also relies on the agent itself, except for arising from reliance, the cause of achievement is not seen. Although it is said that the agent arises from relying on the action, the action is not the cause of the agent's arising. Moreover, when it is said that this reasoning can also be applied to other things, it is also said that valid cognition and the object to be measured, the object to be proven and the means of proof arise in mutual dependence, but they cannot become the cause of each other's arising. In the Garland of Jewels, it is also said: When this exists, that arises; when short exists, long is seen. Although it is said like this, short is not the cause of long's arising. Similarly, if they arise depending on their respective causes and conditions, then except for the separated result, they must be directed at the things themselves, and the dependent arisings other than that, although they arise depending on other things, the place of dependence is not their cause and condition. In this way, because there is no non-dependent arising dharma, there is also no non-emptiness dharma. Saying this can also be well quoted. Cessation and the other eight exist in name, so they cannot be denied without distinction. The distinction lies in the fact that the Commentary says that here, in relation to the wisdom of the noble ones, there is no cessation, etc. And in the following chapter, in relation to the nature of the object of stainless wisdom, which is free from the darkness of ignorance, it is not so. Therefore, for the stainless wisdom of dualistic confusion, since the dependent arising with cessation, etc. is taken as the basis of distinction, and in relation to the nature of the object of equanimous stainless wisdom, there is no cessation, etc., so it is applied as the dharma of distinction. The third aspect is divided into two points.

Refuting the debate about the non-self-nature establishment of cessation, etc., and refuting the debate about the number and order of cessation, etc. First, if the distinction is made in that way, then depending on the nature of the object of the uncontaminated equipoise, it will become ultimately existent, and in that case, it is contradictory to have the ultimate truth on it. Furthermore, on it, the Dharma nature is indestructible, because it has merits, it is permanent, and there is one and many, and the cessation of the continuum of afflictions is also cessation, so those do not exist on it, and it is unreasonable to be in accordance with dependent origination. Answer: This is because the meaning of saying that it does not depend on the nature of the object of equipoise is not understood, so it should be explained. That is, in the Clear Words, it says: 'There, the arising of dependent origination, etc., which are shown, are not dependent on the nature of the object of uncontaminated wisdom of those who are free from the darkness of ignorance. What is it then? It depends on the object of consciousness of those whose eyes of wisdom have been impaired by the darkness of ignorance.' The Blessed One relied on just such observation and said: 'Monks, this is the supreme truth, that is, in this way, it is the undeceiving Dharma nature of Nirvana.' If the wisdom of uncontaminated equipoise does not exist, then such a distinction of saying or not saying depending on his observation cannot be established. If it exists, then it will not measure other objects that are not like that, and the uncontaminated consciousness without objects cannot exist, so that suchness must be realized. At that time, it only exists on it, and it is established as the nature of its object, how can it be established as ultimately existent? Then, when preventing the establishment of cessation, etc. on dependent origination here, why does it show that there is no cessation, etc. depending on the nature of the uncontaminated object? Answer: Examining the dependent origination that is the basis of the difference, on which dependent origination there is which cessation, etc., whether the cessation, etc. of that difference basis and that difference basis are self-nature or essence, preventing yes, that is the meaning of preventing the establishment of cessation, etc. on that dependent origination. If the cessation, etc. of dependent origination become the cessation, etc. of essence, it will become the cessation, etc. established as the nature of the object of uncontaminated wisdom, the so-called nature of the object of uncontaminated consciousness
