And explain in detail. The first part has two points: through examining the actions of cause and effect, negate the self-nature of dharmas (things); through examining the actions of going and coming, negate the self-nature of the individual (person). The first part has three points: explaining the text of the treatise; combining it with definitive meaning scriptures; summarizing the main points and pointing out the name of the treatise. The first point is: because it is considered that for showing the previously mentioned non-cessation etc., by blocking birth, it is easy to block cessation etc., so first the blocking of birth is done. This part has two points: negating the self-nature of birth on the result; negating the self-nature of conditions on the cause of birth. The first part has two points: blocking the birth of the four extremes; eliminating the scriptural contradictions arising from blocking other-birth. The first part has two points: the proposition of blocking birth; and the reasoning of blocking birth. The first part has two points: the actual meaning; and the extended meaning. The first point is: among them, the synonym of the word "who etc." which is "which" refers to the internal and external things indicated by the word relying on the word, that is, no matter in "some places" the synonym of the word "any place" refers to any place of location, time, and sect indicated by the word relying on the word, arising from self-nature does not exist at any time. Similarly, the other three propositions should also be applied in this way. If it is thought that due to the reason of location, saffron does not grow in some places, or due to the reason of time, crops do not grow at some times, then it is blocked by "any place of location and time", so saying "any time" is not meaningless. If it is thought that although the Madhyamaka school does not admit arising, the Realist school admits arising, then it is blocked by "any place of sect", so it is not saying that it does not arise in the view of the Realist school. Here, after showing "any thing in any place, arising does not exist at any time", saying that putting the two verses of "not from self-nature" below for citation is reasonable is inappropriate. Because in the answer to the question "what is not from self-nature", it should be connected with "arising does not exist at any time", and the other three should also be connected in this way, because the Lamp of Wisdom says so, so it is clear that there are blocking words before and after in the Indian Sanskrit version. In the Commentary on Entering the Middle Way, "the existence of the extreme is non-existence" refers to the proof of existence being related to arising from self-nature. Existence and non-existence, because blocking it, the meaning is established.

The term "ro" means that it should not be explained as the latter two lines indicating the proposition and the former two lines indicating the reason, and the other three are also the same. If things have self-nature birth, then any of the four extreme births must be accepted as its proof, so it is said that "there is a proof." If the four extreme births are refuted, then the refutation of self-nature birth can also be indirectly established, so there is no fault in combining it in this way that self-nature birth cannot be established, which is the meaning of the last sentence. Therefore, it is not that it is not permissible to establish non-self-nature birth by taking the refutation of the four extreme births as a reason, as stated in the Ornament of the Middle Way, but that it is not the intention of the theory to separate them individually as before. Because the words have a definite essence, there is a definite grasp, and it is also necessary to put the determination that "it is only not born from itself" at the end. If that is the case, it will become only not born from itself, wouldn't it become unwilling to be born from others? There is no fault, because the word "only" intends to express the non-affirmation of completely separating from self-birth, and it is also to prevent other births from not being from others. This also applies to the other three propositions, because all four propositions are non-affirmations, so the determination of the negative word is not only to cut off the object to be negated, but does not involve other dharmas. There are two distinct situations of birth, with and without cause, and with cause can be distinctly divided into three situations: the fruit and the cause are of the same nature, different, and both are aggregates. Therefore, four propositions are sufficient to prevent self-nature birth. The second part is divided into two points: explaining the definition of the two negations; thinking about which of the two negations is the object to be established by the reason. The first point is: Legden said that the four, such as "not from oneself," are all non-affirmations, and Lha-wa also said that "not from oneself" is a non-affirmation, and the other three propositions are also the same. In general, negation is that the mind directly cuts off the object to be negated and then understands it. Therefore, like cutting off oneself is not that, merely cutting off the object to be negated on the object is not negation, but like the nature of dharma and ultimate truth, although the object to be negated is not directly cut off in the sentence, when its meaning appears in the mind, it appears in the form of cutting off elaboration, these are negations. Among them, non-affirmation refers to the mind directly
