Regarding the statement of "the subject matter and necessity of the treatise," it refers to the fact that although this statement explains the dependent arising with eight special qualities and the quiescence of nirvana, this statement does not consider it to be the subject matter and necessity of the Root Wisdom. What is said from "by what" to "the teaching of quiescence" is because the teacher taught in that way. The necessity is that, in order to make other disciples eliminate the doubts and wrong views of not understanding and misunderstanding the meaning of definitive and non-definitive, so as to truly understand, for this purpose, the subject matter is shown. Necessity depends on the treatise, and the necessity of necessity depends on necessity, which is the relationship, although not directly stated, it exists implicitly. In the explanation of "Quiescence of Proliferation," when seeing the suchness of dependent arising, it is said that there is no entering of mind and mental factors, and the "entering" here refers to what is said in the "Commentary on Entering," that the flow of mind and mental factors is wrong. Moreover, in the "Clear Words," it is said: "Discrimination is the flow of mind, because it is separate from this, therefore suchness is without discrimination." As it is said in the sutra: "What is the ultimate truth? If even the flow of mind is not there, then what need is there to mention words?" As quoted, this is the meaning of the cessation of the flow of discrimination, not showing that there is no wisdom. Regarding the terms of knowledge and knowable being wrongly explained, it means that in that state of equipoise, these two are ceased, but this is not denying that equipoise and ultimate truth are object and subject, because object and subject are not established on the level of reasoning consciousness, but are established on the level of conventional consciousness. If these two points are understood, many similar doubts can be eliminated. For the view that both Hearers and Solitary Realizers realize the two selflessnesses, according to what is said in the "Clear Words," the four necessities etc. exist for both the Great and Small Vehicles, then will the disciples here become a common vehicle? In the "Commentary on Entering," it is said that the Hearer Vehicle only briefly shows the selflessness of phenomena, while it is extensively explained in the Great Vehicle, therefore, in order to prove that the teaching of the Great Vehicle is not meaningless, it is quoted: "If you do not realize the signless, you say there is no liberation. Therefore, it is in the Great Vehicle, that you fully show it." Meaning transcending the world.

It is quoted from what is said in the "Praise." If done in this way, Even though this treatise does not explain the characteristics of the Mahayana other than the view, it shows the selflessness of phenomena very extensively, so there is a difference for the beings to be tamed for the purpose. The Clear Words also say that separation from all harms such as birth and death is the meaning of peace. The second point is that the dependent origination shown as the basis of distinction here is explained in the commentary as the dependent origination of conditioned phenomena. Among them, meeting, dependence, and basis are said to be synonymous, so the meaning of the word basis exists in all knowable things, and there are two kinds of arising, and birth does not exist in non-conditioned phenomena, but it is also said that achieving by relying on it is also the meaning of arising. As it is said: The agent depends on the action, and the action also depends on the agent itself. Except for arising by relying on, the cause of achievement is not seen. Although it is said that the agent arises by relying on the action, the action is not the cause of the agent's arising. And, when applying this reasoning to other dharmas, it is also said that valid cognition and object of valid cognition, object to be proven and means of proof arise in dependence on each other, but they cannot become the cause of each other's arising. In the Garland of Jewels it is also said: When this exists, that arises, when short exists, long appears. Although it is said like this, short is not the cause of long's arising. Similarly, if they arise in dependence on their respective causes and conditions, then except for the separation result, all must be things, and other dependent originations, although they arise in dependence on other dharmas, the place of dependence is not its cause and condition. If done in this way, since there is no non-dependent origination dharma, there is also no non-emptiness dharma. Saying this is also a good quote. Cessation and the like exist in name, so they cannot be denied without adding distinctions. The distinction is that the Clear Words say that here, in relation to the wisdom of the noble ones, cessation and the like do not exist, and in the next context, in relation to the nature of the object of stainless wisdom free from the darkness of ignorance, it is not so, so it is said to be stainless wisdom of dualistic delusion. Therefore, taking the dependent origination that has cessation and the like as the basis of distinction,
