Now, because what is apprehended by eye-consciousness and so forth is the object, and not the nature of the elements. This shows that if the cause and effect are the same in nature, then this sameness does not depend on the cause, and if one part is the same, then all parts must be the same. In the "Praise of the Transcendent," it is also said: "The elements are not apprehended by the eye, how can what arises from them be apprehended by the eye? When this is said about form, you should refute the clinging to form." This means that if the elements cannot be seen by the eye, then the blue, yellow, etc., that arise from them cannot be seen either. If these two are established by their own nature, then whether the eye sees them or not should be the same principle. The seeds of Salu and so forth, because they are not seen as cause and effect among seeds of the same kind, it is also said that it is unreasonable for the effect to be the same as the cause, and if one sees that one kind is not a cause and effect, then preventing other similar things from becoming cause and effect is also the key point mentioned earlier. It is also unreasonable to say that the effect is different from the cause, even if it is different from the cause, if it is permissible for nature to exist in cause and effect, then all different things will also become cause and effect. Secondly, feeling, thought, formation, and mind are also the same, and should be understood as the same. The same as what? The same as the form aggregate. How is it the same? Just as the nature is negated for the form aggregate, in order, the way of negating is just like that, and it also applies to the remaining four aggregates in all aspects. That is to say, just as for form, one analyzes from one's own cause whether it is itself or something else, and then negates it, for feeling and touch, and for thought and ignorance that arise together with consciousness, and for the two formations, and for the two formations and consciousness, one should also analyze whether it is itself or something else, and then negate it. Similarly, existence and non-existence, and the same and different of cause and effect should also be combined, because it is said "in all aspects." Moreover, things, that is, names and referents, cause and effect, parts and wholes, etc., should also be combined in the same way in all aspects as the three analyses performed on form. Thirdly, because the Madhyamikas believe that just as they show that one dharma is empty of nature, they also show that all other dharmas are empty of nature, therefore, empty of nature.

When, with the proponent of emptiness as the cause, one refutes the tenets of others, denying that form exists by its own nature, if some non-emptiness proponent argues that, for the moment, feelings and so forth exist, and likewise, form also exists, then such an argument is not a correct answer. For admitting that feelings and so forth exist by their own nature is the same as proving that form exists by its own nature, and both require further proof. Therefore, the Madhyamikas would say that such a statement by the opponent is the same as what needs to be proven, and for all such answers, it is an unestablished "probandum and probandum are the same." The teacher teaches in this way. Similarly, when a statement is made by the proponent of emptiness, if someone like a disciple raises objections and refutes, then all his refutations are not true objections, because they are the same as what needs to be proven. In the Hundred Treatises, it is also said: "Whoever sees one thing, is said to see all things. Whatever is the emptiness of one, is the emptiness of all." Know that these two verses belong to all categories. Secondly, in this way, the five aggregates are empty of their own nature, which is also established by the scriptural statements that determine the meaning, and in order to show that all the scriptures that teach in this way should be explained through this category, it is only one aspect of combining with the scriptural statements of definitive meaning. In the Heart Sutra of the Perfection of Wisdom, it is said: "Sons or daughters of good family, whoever wishes to practice the profound Perfection of Wisdom, should view it in this way, that is, those five aggregates should also be truly and correctly viewed as empty of their own nature." Thus it is said. In the Sutra Taught to the Hearers, it is also said: "Form is like a mass of foam, feeling is like a bubble, perception is like a mirage, formations are like a plantain tree, consciousness is like an illusion, so said the Kinsman of the Sun." Thus it is said. In particular, just as one dharma is empty of its own nature, viewing all others in the same way is like the Akashagarbha
