This was explained, and it also appears in Chandrakirti's view. Lekden believes that if this is the case, then the word "therefore" will lose its companion, and because it is determined that the basis of movement, shaking, and walking activities is the path being walked, it is unreasonable for the agent to be the basis for the phrase "on whose walking." Furthermore, since the activity of walking on what has been walked and what has not been walked has been previously prevented, it has been determined that the activity of the walker exists on the walking, so it is unreasonable to explain "whose" as the walker. Buddhapalita, on the other hand, believes that since "because of what" and "when" have been mentioned, "therefore" and "then" are often not explicitly stated, and the act of walking also exists on the walker. Although the activity of walking on what has been walked and what has not been walked has been previously prevented, he believes that preventing the effort of walking on what has been walked and what has not been walked again is like not repeating, so he does not think that these faults exist. Here, translating "that is also because on whose walking" in this way is incorrect, just like the old translation. Here, some people think that for the path, generally speaking, what has been walked and what has not been walked, and what has been crossed and what has not been crossed are two direct contradictions. Since neither of these is the case, the earlier treatises say that the path of walking is impossible. And this treatise wants to explain the reason why what has been walked and what has not been walked are direct contradictions, which is unreasonable. Because for the walked and unwalked of the three aggregates, the signs of activity ceasing and not being born cannot be established. As the Clear Words says: "If it has not been walked, then how can it be walked? If it is walked, then how can it not be walked?" Saying that walking is not not walking, therefore it must be admitted that it has been walked, and if that is the case, the cessation of activity contradicts walking. Therefore, the place crossed by the walker is said to be walked, and the place not crossed is said to be unwalked, so the place being walked is generally the crossed of the two, crossed and uncrossed, just like crossing a body of water. Therefore, for the path, generally speaking, it can be determined with the feet whether it has been crossed or not crossed, but according to the Svātantrika's view, the walked and unwalked in this case, the unwalked is as previously stated, so it is impossible to determine which of the two the path is. Therefore, for the phrase "except for what has been walked and what has not been walked," it is not based on the reason that the two are direct contradictions, and this treatise is not trying to explain the reason for direct contradiction either. The second point is divided into two parts: if the object word and the verb both have meaning, then the other becomes meaningless; if both have meaning, then it is too much. The first case is: walking.

If it is said that going exists by its own nature, how can it be established? It cannot be established. The reason is that at what time, for what reason, the activity of going is not the meaning of the word 'going,' that is, the word 'going' is not established, then the activity of going is the meaning of the word 'going,' and there is only one activity, and it is unreasonable that there is no going in the meaning of the word 'going.' Therefore, it is only possible to say 'going,' but it is unreasonable to say 'going.' If it is thought that 'going' is just that, and the activity of going is related, then according to which opponent's view, there is no activity of going in the meaning of the word 'going,' but it is thought that the activity of going is the basis, then on that side, in the meaning of the word 'going,' that is, there is no activity of going in meaning, this will be a fault, because, like this, there is only one activity, and that is also because it exists in the meaning after the word 'going.' For example, when a carpenter does carpentry, although there is only one activity of carpentry, carpentry is both the meaning of 'carpenter' and the meaning of 'doing carpentry,' just like that, going is also thought of in this way, if either the verb or the noun has meaning, how can the other become meaningless? If it is thought that it is only established according to the name of the agent noun, then it is okay to establish it that way, but if it is thought that the activity of going, like that, is established by its own characteristics, then that is not okay. Like this, generally speaking, the activity of moving the foot depends on both the path of going and the person, therefore the activity also becomes the meaning of both the words 'going' and 'going,' and this does not contradict the fact that there is only one activity, but it is contradictory that one dharma commonly depends on the meaning of the path and the goer being established separately by their own characteristics. As it is said: Those that are different by their own characteristics, those should not belong to one continuum. Therefore, the activity of moving the foot exists in the meaning of both the words 'path of going' and 'going,' and the activity of going is only one, these two are contradictory, therefore it is said that if one word has meaning, the other word will become meaningless. Second, if going and 'going' this
