Because it will become that each of the front and back parts has not been stepped on, and there is no foot other than those. Although the front and back directions of the toes and heels belong to the scope of the gone and not gone of the two, the place stepped on by the two is not the two, and if it is considered as the three aggregates, the doubt cannot be eliminated, just like the foot. Furthermore, if there is no path being walked, then there is no present path, and if so, then the past that has disappeared and the future path that has not yet arisen will also be gone. If it is said that gone and not gone are explained in the Clear Word Commentary for what has disappeared and what has not yet arisen, and if there is no path being walked that is neither of the two, then the fault will become as previously stated. But here it is not said that there is no path being walked that is neither of the two, but rather the self-existence of the path being walked is prevented, thereby preventing the act of walking on it. That is, the path stepped on by the foot, the back stepped on by the toes of the foot is the act of walking that has disappeared from that part, and the front stepped on by the heel is the act of walking that has not yet arisen from that part, so relative to those two, the middle path is not the three aggregates of what has disappeared and what has not yet arisen. If there exists a foot that is neither of those two parts established by its own nature, relative to the parts, although the middle path is not the two, relative to the foot that has parts, even if there exist the three aggregates that are not the two, because the foot that is neither of those two parts is not established by its own nature, therefore relative to it, that path being walked is not self-existent. If it is said that although the middle path does not exist as the three aggregates relative to the front and back parts, the parts stepped on by the front and back parts are the three aggregates relative to each other, then, as explained in the commentary about the front and back parts of the foot, for the dust of the toes and heels, one should also analyze in relation to the parts of the east and west directions, therefore those should also be analyzed in the same way. The reasoning of preventing what is being produced, which was previously explained, can also prevent, thus, even if the born and unborn two do not arise, if it is said that the sprout that is being produced arises, then the way in which the three aggregates contradict or do not contradict is the same as before. Furthermore, if any part of the sprout has not arisen, then it is unborn, therefore one part arises and one part

Some unborn things must be considered as being born. At that time, it becomes half born and half unborn, and since there are no other sprouts besides those two parts, there is no being born that is neither born nor unborn. Similarly, looking at the front and back parts of the foot, it is either gone or not gone. If the foot is not any of those two parts, then the foot itself is non-existent in its own nature, so the walking that is half gone and half not gone is also non-existent in its own nature. The parts of the foot are not the foot, and there is no foot other than those parts, therefore, it can prevent the establishment of the foot by its own nature, but it cannot prevent the foot, which has already been said and will be said, so it is not said here. Therefore, by that reasoning, it can prevent the road stepped on by the foot from existing in three ways in its own nature in relation to the foot with parts. But since going and not going are contradictory, it is not preventing three ways, because the commentary itself says that the cessation of the activity of walking and the unborn are gone and not gone, and the activity of walking is now included in walking. Here, some say that the parts of the foot are not the foot, and there is no foot other than those parts, so there is no foot, and each part does not step on the road from the heel to the toe, and there is no other stepper other than those parts, so it is impossible to step on the road, they say, and they say the same in other occasions, claiming to be explaining the meaning of Madhyamaka, but they are actually in a great error of explaining dependent origination as the meaning of Madhyamaka. The second part is divided into two points: first, the former's view, and then the reasoning to prevent that view. The first point is: you have explained going and not going as the cessation of the activity of walking and the unborn, therefore, wherever there is the activity of lifting and putting down the foot, there the activity of walking will arise. That activity also exists in whatever the walker's walking focuses on. Because the activity does not exist in the gone, nor does it exist in the not gone, but it exists in the walking, and in the place where the activity exists, the activity of walking also exists, therefore there is walking in the walking. Here, the walking of the word walking means knowing that the place is included in the activity, and the latter word walking means going to another place. Any of, refers to the walker of Buddhapalita.
