Thus, it is shown that it becomes one with suchness, like the example of non-conceptual wisdom. What is suchness? Wherever, there is no self-nature, it will never become the cause of others. Whose self-nature cannot be found, how can the self-natureless be the condition for others? Thus, it is taught that causes and conditions do not have the nature of arising. What can the self-natureless produce? The Tathagata has taught this cause. Thus, it is said that the Victorious One has explained the emptiness of the fruit without the nature of arising, along with the reason. All dharmas are also unmoving and abide firmly, unchanging, harmless, and peaceful, like the sky without consciousness. Ignorant beings become deluded by this. Thus, the suchness of all dharmas is taught as unmoving, etc., and it is not just stopping the obstructed things like the sky, mountains, etc., but it is like not being able to know it in other ways, and it should be understood only as cutting off the proliferation of movement and stability, etc. And, it is said that one wanders in samsara because one has not realized this meaning. Just as the mountains do not move, so the dharmas can never move constantly. There is no death or birth. The Victorious One has well taught the dharmas in this way. Thus, it is taught that the dharmas are empty of self-nature and cannot be led in other ways, and there is no death, etc. What dharma has no birth and no arising, no death and does not become old, the lion of men shows it there, and hundreds of thousands of sentient beings are placed there. Thus, it is taught that the meaning of self-natureless birth and death, even if other disciples are not destroyed, they are allowed to hold it. Thus, by the power of direct teaching, it is also taught that others should also place sentient beings there. In what there is no self-nature, nor is it other, no one can find it, not inside, nor outside, it cannot be found, the protector places them in those. Thus, it is taught that no matter where the seeker seeks, the meaning of not finding the self-nature of self and others, sentient beings are placed in this, thus it is taught the way to generate the understanding of the ultimate meaning for the disciples. Although the Sugata spoke of the peaceful realm, no realm can be found.

Without change, they are said to be liberated from samsara. Having liberated, they cause many sentient beings to be liberated. Therefore, even the one who goes to peace cannot be found, and yet it is said that they are liberated from the cycle of the five realms, and having liberated themselves, they liberate many others. Since they cannot be found by reasoning, liberation, the one who attains it, and the attainment of it, etc., are not denied. Therefore, know that these reasonings of the first chapter are the eyes for viewing all the scriptures that teach non-arising in this way. Thirdly, to briefly state what this treatise refutes, how the object to be refuted is apprehended, how it is established after being refuted by reason, and how cause, condition, and effect are established in it: When we see seeds and firewood, etc., producing sprouts and fire, etc., or hear that they act in this way, we believe that both cause and effect are not merely names, but that the meaning of the object of designation is established by its own nature as the produced and the producer. This is how the object to be refuted is apprehended. If we accept that the meaning apprehended in this way exists, then is the arising of the effect the same as or different from the nature of the cause and condition? After analyzing in this way, from the perspective of the effect, the nature of the produced is refuted, and the condition also proves whether the effect exists or does not exist at the time of the cause, etc. From the perspective of the cause, the nature of the producer is refuted. For something that exists by its own nature, there is no place to establish cause, condition, and effect, and it mainly focuses on the aspect of refutation to explain. The reason for doing so is that the belief that cause and effect exist by the power of their own nature has been habitual since beginningless time and is difficult to reverse, and if self-nature is refuted, then the rationality of action for non-self-nature is easily established. In our own school, the way of establishing actions in name is not mainly emphasized. In this way, in the part of refutation, by "from self or from other," etc., analyzing how the meaning of the object of designation exists, the result is entirely refutation. Therefore, what is refuted is not merely arising, but the arising that is not merely designated is refuted. This is very clear, therefore, most treatises do not add distinctions to the object to be refuted, and adding distinctions
