This arising is due to its master cause. As stated in the Commentary on the Clear Words, things that arise earlier, arise simultaneously, and arise later are also included within these. As stated in the Lamp of Wisdom: 'The causes examined by other schools, those that arise before, those that exist, and those that do not exist,' although translating it this way has the same meaning, it is good. Its meaning is explained in the commentary as follows: The term established by the Sthavira school, the cause that arises before is the object-condition that arises before the direct perception of the senses. The existing cause is the causal condition and the dominant condition. The non-existent cause is explained as the immediately preceding condition. Such slightly different terms are included in these four when examining their characteristics, and since Isvara and others are not causes, the fifth cause is not existent, so be sure to ascertain this. As stated in the Treasury of Knowledge: 'Four cause mind and mental factors, Three cause two kinds of meditative absorption, The others arise from those two, Isvara and others are not, due to sequence and so forth.' It is explained in the same way. Therefore, if it is asserted that things arise from these causes that have transformed from the result, it contradicts the scriptures, so it is asserted that other-arising exists. Secondly, the other-arising that speaks in that way is the aggregation of the two, cause and effect, which are other in their own nature, arising in their own nature, and for that, there are two lines of reasoning for negating the aggregation of other-arising by negating each individual part. For the time being, we will explain negating other-arising by negating arising, and we will bring 'non-existent' as the basis for discussion. Where, the nature or essence of the fruit's objects, such as sprouts, is. Where, at the collection of causes such as seeds, and at each individual part, and at both of those, and also outside of those included by the word 'etcetera'. How, just as sandalwood is fixed on a wooden bowl. 'La' is said to be the word for the seventh case ending, which is the place, at that time it is like that, as stated in the Commentary on Engaging. When, before one's own arising. Generally, for the objects of the fruit, the two times of existence and arising do not exist separately, but considering the thoughts of others, there are many cases where it is necessary to separate and negate. Therefore, the sprout that is about to arise, before it arises

Examining whether something "exists" is not the same as examining whether the sprout itself exists before itself. Moreover, the time when the fruit manifests to grow is the time of birth, and the time when it has already grown is the time of having been born. Therefore, if it exists before being born, it must exist at the time of manifesting to grow. If it exists in those places and times, it must be seen, but because it is not seen, and because producing it again is meaningless, it does not exist. Thus, if the self of the fruit that is going to be produced does not exist before it is born, then the thing manifests here, which is birth, so birth from another does not exist with its own nature. Then, if birth from another exists with its own nature, how can it be established that the fruit must exist before it is born? If these reasons are not established, then everything said by others is just empty words, so it must be established. Although it does not appear in the Clear Words here, it has been said in the Introduction to the Middle Way, when refuting other-birth, so it should be supplemented. Therefore, as long as birth is accepted, it must be accepted that the cessation of the cause and the manifestation of the fruit arising are simultaneous. This is not unreasonable for mere birth and the nominal acceptance of birth, but it is contradictory for ultimate truth and birth in its own characteristics, because in the former, although the actions of arising and ceasing of cause and effect are simultaneous, the two do not necessarily have to be simultaneous, while in the latter, if the actions are simultaneous, the cause and effect must also be simultaneous. Thus, the action of the fruit arising must depend on the agent of "this birth," such as the sprout, so it is the support and the supported. If the support and the supported are established in ultimate truth, then changing nature is unreasonable, so at any time the action must have a support, therefore the sprout, etc., must also have the sprout as the support of the action of birth at the time of manifesting to grow, therefore cause and effect become simultaneous, and it is also harmed by the previous two reasons, so it is unreasonable to exist at that time. For nominal birth, once it becomes a support and a supported, it does not need to be so at all times, so it is not the same. The Introduction to the Middle Way says: "This birth has no maker, nor is it of the nature of reason." And, in this same treatise, it also says: "If things do not..."
