As measured by the way innate clinging to truth was explained earlier, it is examined whether it exists or not, but it is not examined by the ultimate reasoning whether it can withstand analysis, nor is it examined by reason whether it is established or not. Therefore, merely acknowledging that it is established by reason does not mean acknowledging the meaning of being truly established. If, even if the meaning of truth is not acknowledged, but it is established by reason, then it must be established as being able to withstand analysis by ultimate reasoning, because if reason cannot analyze it, it contradicts its establishment. If one thinks that if it can be analyzed by reason, then it will become true, this is also because considering that being able to be analyzed by reason and being established by it are the same meaning, therefore, it will ultimately be considered that being established by reason itself is the meaning of truth, so it is not understood where the boundary of reaching true establishment is. Therefore, regarding this, as mentioned earlier, pointing out the fault of clinging to truth makes it easy to understand its unreasonableness. Previously, when searching for whether sprouts and other things exist truly, reason found non-truth, so when searching again for whether non-truth exists truly, even if non-truth cannot be found, it will not become non-existent. Previously, when searching for whether sprouts and other things can withstand analysis by ultimate reasoning, nothing that can withstand analysis was found, and when searching again for the non-existence of what can withstand analysis, when searching for whether it exists, it is also not found, so what is found by reason and what can be analyzed by it are not the same. Therefore, in order to understand the ultimate limit of reaching true establishment to what extent, it is necessary to point out that what is to be proven and what is to be measured are non-affirming negations, and thus dispel this doubt. Unless the idea that reason establishes the existence of non-inherent existence is dispelled, it is also impossible to prove that what is to be measured is a non-affirming negation. In the "Lamp of Wisdom," it is said that if the commitment of the non-existence of the four extremes is not taken as a non-affirming negation, but as a non-negation, then the "Mother Sutra" says that if one practices the non-arising of form, one will not practice the Perfection of Wisdom, these statements are contradictory. In the "Compendium," it is also said: 'Even if one thinks that the aggregates are empty, the Bodhisattva will not practice on characteristics, and will not abide in non-arising.' There are many others like this, all of which are the selflessness established by reason.
