The debate on the unreasonableness of the activities of the Four Noble Truths, the debate on the unreasonableness of entering the stream and abiding in the fruits, and the debate on the unreasonableness of the Three Jewels. First, if you argue that all internal and external phenomena are empty because they exist by their own nature, then you will incur great faults and many faults. How so? If it is empty in that way, then it is non-existent, like the son of a barren woman, without arising and ceasing, so no phenomena will arise or perish. Because that does not exist, the Four Noble Truths are impossible for you who speak of emptiness. For example, the five aggregates of clinging, which are produced by previous causes, are the truth of suffering, but if there is not even a slight arising and ceasing, then it does not exist. If that does not exist, then the origin of suffering, which is the karma and afflictions from which the aggregates of suffering arise, also does not exist. If there is no suffering, then the cessation of suffering, which is the truth of cessation, also does not exist. If there is no cessation of suffering, then the truth of the path, which is the eightfold path that leads to it, also does not exist. If that is the case, since there are no Four Noble Truths, it is not reasonable to fully understand suffering, abandon the origin, meditate on the path, and realize cessation. Since there are no four activities such as knowable objects and things to be abandoned, the four actions such as knowing and abandoning are also unreasonable, because actions are not confused with activities. Second, since those such as understanding the truth of suffering do not exist, the four fruits also do not exist. Among them, the fruit of stream-enterer is the sixteenth moment of abandoning what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing, the path of liberation that follows the path, and the afflictions to be abandoned by meditation belonging to the desire realm, divided into three small, medium, and large categories, each divided into three, with nine in total, the sixth of which has not been abandoned, and the two abandonments of abandoning what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing. As the Treasury says, "The fruit is conditioned and unconditioned." The fruit of once-returner is the path of liberation and abandonment of abandoning the sixth of what is to be abandoned by meditation in the desire realm. The fruit of non-returner is the path of liberation and abandonment of abandoning the ninth of what is to be abandoned by the path of seeing and what is to be abandoned by meditation in the desire realm. The fruit of Arhat is the liberation of abandoning the ninth affliction of what is to be abandoned by meditation at the peak of existence.

It is just the mother and abandonment, only roughly. If these four fruits do not exist, then the noble individuals who abide in them, that is, the four individuals who abide in the fruits, also do not exist. Because of this non-existence, the four types of noble individuals who have entered the stream also do not exist. Among them, the one who enters the stream-entry fruit is the one who, in the sixteen moments of the path, in the forbearance before the subsequent knowledge and in the fifteen moments of knowledge, has not abandoned the six afflictions to be abandoned by meditation in the desire realm. The forbearance of the knowledge of dharma in suffering is: the view of the perishable, the extreme view, the wrong view, the view of holding views as supreme, the view of holding morality and asceticism as supreme, doubt, attachment, anger, pride, and ignorance, which are the uninterrupted path that is the antidote to the ten afflictions to be abandoned by seeing in the suffering truth of the desire realm. Focusing on the suffering truth of the desire realm, it arises in the aspects of impermanence, suffering, emptiness, and selflessness. The knowledge of dharma in suffering is: the path of liberation that has abandoned these ten objects to be abandoned with such an object and aspect. The forbearance of subsequent knowledge in suffering is: in the two higher realms, there is no anger, so it is the uninterrupted path that is the antidote to the eighteen subtle afflictions, focusing on the higher suffering truth, arising in the same way as before. The subsequent knowledge in suffering is: the path of liberation that has abandoned these objects to be abandoned, or arising in the same object and aspect. The three sets of four, namely the forbearance of the knowledge of dharma, the knowledge of dharma, the forbearance of subsequent knowledge, and the subsequent knowledge, for the origin, cessation, and path truths, should also be understood as before. However, the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing in the origin and cessation are seven subtle afflictions each, excluding the first two and the last view; the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing in the path are eight subtle afflictions, excluding the first two views. These eighty-eight subtle afflictions are called those to be abandoned by seeing because they are abandoned by merely seeing the truths directly, without relying on habituation after having directly seen the truths. Like directly seeing the truths, what is later abandoned through habituation is what is to be abandoned by meditation. The four belonging to the desire realm, namely attachment, anger, pride, and ignorance, and the three belonging to the form realm and the formless realm, excluding anger, three each, totaling ten. These are the desire realm and the meditative
