Therefore, they believe that it should not be examined whether it truly exists, they also believe that it is meaningful to search for such things, and they also say that it is determined by its own characteristics. They believe that if there are no such worldly concepts, causality etc. will be completely impossible. So, according to these people's view, from where should the boundary of examining whether it truly exists be determined? Because they do not think that causality etc. are established by the worldly concept of names, therefore, for worldly sensory consciousness etc., for the objects of appearance and attachment, for the consciousness that is not confused about the existence of its own nature, it is not established by how it appears, but exists by the way things exist themselves, this is truly existing. Conversely, they believe that it exists in the mundane. Therefore, starting from examining whether there is such a nature, it will become examining whether it truly exists. If you do not understand the difference between the way worldly people and philosophical schools examine, and whether philosophical schools truly exist, then accepting the meaning of examination is not recognized even in the mundane. The two great masters of Madhyamaka have elaborated on this a lot, but it will cause great misunderstandings, and it is also very difficult to distinguish the difference between existence and non-existence in the mundane, so it should be understood from other detailed elaborations. As mentioned earlier, clinging to existence through examination is only what is set by the philosophical school, therefore, the two innate ego-grasps will not cling to it that way, but will cling to existing with their own nature. Therefore, if it exists in such a thing, then it must be found when the examiner searches, and if it is negated, then it is reasonable to negate it after examination. If the method of examination shown earlier is followed, then no one does not know that establishing causality with the emptiness of unobtainable nature is not Prasangika. Therefore, if after such examination it is not found, it is considered that the examiner's intellect negates all causality etc., which is very unreasonable. In the "Seventy Stanzas on Emptiness" it is also said: "This arises from this, it does not destroy the worldly dharma." In the "Refutation of Disputes" it is also said: "If we do not take the mundane, we will not speak." Thus it is said. Second, in this way, the wisdom of understanding the true state of affairs is to realize that the object grasped by ignorance does not exist. And this will harm the existence of the object.

It arises from being determined by the reasoning of proofs of existence and non-existence. It does not arise merely from being accustomed to withdrawing the mind from the two, object and possessor. As the "Hundred Treatises" says: "If one sees the selflessness of objects, then the seed of existence will be extinguished." Because it is said in the sutras that one must realize the selflessness of the object that is grasped as self. Therefore, one should distinguish the difference between the mind not engaging in the two, the possessor and engaging in the two, selflessness. Among these, first, one must determine that the object of ignorance that grasps the self of the person and what belongs to the self does not exist, and this is explained by the eighteenth chapter. In this way, after negating the inherent nature of the person, if one thinks that there are those who come from the other world to this world and go from this world to the other world, and that there are doers of good and non-good deeds, then that is unreasonable. In order to negate this thought, there are the two chapters of "Investigation of Going and Coming" and "Doer." Afterwards, in order to show that the taker and the taken are also without inherent nature, just like actions and the doer, in order to negate the thought that if there is no inherent nature, then one cannot become a taker, there is the investigation of "Existing Previously." Afterwards, in order to establish the taker, among the two, the example and the reason for establishing, the tenth chapter refutes the example. In order to refute the reason that "because there is samsara, therefore there is a samsaric being; because there is suffering, therefore there is a self that corresponds to suffering," there are the eleventh and twelfth chapters. Afterwards, in order to negate the object of ignorance that grasps the self of phenomena, the first is to negate the arising of internal and external phenomena. Because it is said in the sutras that there are sense bases, aggregates, and elements, therefore one thinks that there is inherent nature. In order to negate this thought, there are the three chapters of "Investigation of Sense Bases," and so on. Afterwards, in order to negate the inherent nature of attachment and so on, which are dependent on those three, and the characteristics of arising, ceasing, and abiding, which are represented by conditioned phenomena, and their cause—actions and the doer—there are the three chapters of "Investigation of Desire and Attachment," and so on. The eighth chapter can be applied to both negating the inherent nature of the person and the phenomena. By the "Investigation of Actions," the emptiness of inherent nature is shown merely by things, without distinguishing between the person and the phenomena. Afterwards, in order to negate the inherent nature of things, whether distinguishing or not distinguishing between the person and the phenomena, it shows the encounter of phenomena as the proof for establishing inherent existence, as well as the cause of production, the immediate cause, and from one to one.
