Obtaining the name of Prajnaparamita is from "Collecting Precious Qualities": Countless billions of blind people without sight, They do not know the way, how can they enter the city? Likewise, without wisdom, the five perfections, Without sight, cannot touch enlightenment. When wisdom completely grasps, Then one gains sight and obtains this name. Thus it is said. This place is extremely important, and even doubting whether it is so or not is praised. From the Hundred Verses: With little merit, one will not even doubt this Dharma. Merely doubting it Will make existence fragile. Thus it is said. Those with wisdom who see these benefits should give up even their lives and always, like princes, seek the Prajnaparamita, and should always strive to contemplate the profound meaning of the inner self. From the Hundred Verses: If one sees correctly, one is in a supreme state; if one sees a little, one goes to a good destination; therefore, the wise should always generate wisdom when contemplating the inner self. Thus it is said. Secondly, this explanation that self and what belongs to self are without inherent existence is taught by the previously cited passages and also by many other profound sutras. Its meaning is that this Differentiation has briefly determined it, and by becoming familiar with it, all faults are averted. Therefore, one should understand that the order of entering Suchness of all the profound meanings that have been taught is as shown here. Having understood this, one should also regard the gathering of inner and outer conditions such as spiritual friends and leisure and endowments as extremely difficult to obtain, and, based on completely pure ethics, one should practice the general conduct of Bodhisattvas by extensively hearing and thinking, and especially one should practice the profound meaning in a solitary place, and one should not make too much of merely speaking words, which is the essence of all the scriptures. As it is said in the Sutra of Meeting Father and Son: It is difficult for Buddhas to appear and remain for a long time, and likewise to be the first to obtain the teachings. Since human existence is also difficult to obtain, therefore, strive well in the teachings of the Buddhas. Completely abandon all eight unfree states, and having obtained the leisure and endowments that are difficult to find.

Having found faith in the Sugata's teachings, Wise ones should practice the yoga of reason. Do not dwell on sounds and abide, Having heard the Dharma, always be diligent. You should always rely on solitary places, By this, you can become a noble man. You should rely on whatever Dharma-speaking virtuous friend, Do not rely on sinful companions even once. Have equal minds towards all sentient beings, Do not be arrogant towards those sentient beings. You should possess discipline and hear much, Always prostrate, practice asceticism, and beg for food. Without distraction, rely on the foot of a tree, Do not slander the respected, you should respect them. All these conditioned phenomena, Are not conditioned, like mirages. You should know the single taste of the ultimate truth, Quickly measure and touch the Bodhi fruit. The five aggregates should be viewed as illusions, The six internal and six external sense bases. Since they are said to be like empty villages, Therefore, never rely on them. Attachment and hatred are by nature emptiness, Ignorance and pride are born from complete conceptualization. Those conceptualizations are unborn and unarisen, Knowing this, one becomes a wise person. Thus it is said. Third, the profound meanings determined in the preceding and subsequent treatises are summarized into a sequence of practice, as this treatise shows. It should be known that all the contents determined by view are concluded to show that I and phenomena are without self-nature, and then practice as previously described. "Examining I and Phenomena," which is the nature of twelve verses, is a commentary on the eighteenth treatise. Fourth, showing emptiness by the nature of time, divided into two: refuting that time is established by its own nature; refuting its arguments. The first has three parts: explaining the tenets of the treatise; combining it with definitive scriptures; summarizing the meaning and indicating the name. The first is: Here it is said that phenomena have self-nature because phenomena are the cause of establishing the three times. The three times here are what is taught in the Sutra Pitaka, and it is also the basis of phenomena, because the nature of phenomena is that what has arisen and ceased is the past, what has arisen but not ceased is the present, and my...
