Those who aim at emptiness and cling to emptiness, I say that is the most serious fault in this scripture. Thus it is said. It is said that emptiness and so on do not make all dharmas empty, but that dharmas themselves are emptiness and so on, meaning that dharma itself is not empty because it is true, but it is not considered empty because something else is true. Clinging to emptiness is said to be the most serious fault, and the way of clinging is that those who aim at emptiness should not think that they are aiming at truth and doing emptiness, otherwise, immediately clinging to the three, such as emptiness, would contradict the middle way that is said. There is also no way to combine the meaning of the example of seeing emptiness as incurable, it says in it: 'Light, for example, there is a sick person, the doctor gives him medicine, that medicine drives away all his diseases, but the medicine stays in the stomach and does not digest, Light, do you think that person can be freed from that disease?' He replied: 'World Honored One, that is impossible, because that medicine has driven away all the diseases, but if the medicine stays in the stomach and does not digest, that person's digestive disease will be very serious.' The World Honored One said: 'Light, likewise, what arises from all views is emptiness, Light, I say that whoever only sees emptiness is incurable.' Thus it is said. Taking the example of medicine not digesting, first purifying, and then causing disease by not digesting itself, this should be applied to the two schools of thought in one's own tradition who say that things are real, who believe that selflessness is true, and to some early Tibetans who deny that things can be analyzed by ultimate reasoning, therefore, by denying what is to be denied, realizing that emptiness, many manifest afflictive diseases will also disappear, but if one clings to emptiness as true, it will also cause afflictive diseases. Different from those, for those who do both empty and non-empty ways, the empty way is not denied by measure, but is slander, therefore, the previous example has no meaning, merely because clinging to the non-empty way causes afflictive diseases.

In short, although all formations are not established by their own nature, they appear as such, and for things that exist by their own nature, there can be no other change; the emptiness that is empty of truth is shown to be without truth, all of which can be established by profound teachings, which has been explained many times before, and should be understood accordingly. Third, the false way of falsehood is that, although it is not established by its own nature, it appears as such, and for it, all actions are reasonable, so the meaning of falsehood should not be understood as all actions of things are empty, other changes and impermanence are the same. For false things, although the emptiness of true establishment is denied, it is not that it is not established, therefore, for those who seek liberation, for the object they focus on and practice, so that the obstacles can be eliminated, the goal of the path, the extremely reasonable reasons should be determined. The nature of the eight verses called "Examination of Formations" is the supreme explanation of the thirteenth chapter. Second, the argument that things exist by their own nature is refuted, divided into three parts: refuting that contact exists by its own nature; refuting that causes and conditions as self exist by their own nature; refuting that bondage and liberation exist by their own nature. The first part is divided into three parts: explaining the text of the treatise; combining it with the teachings of definite meaning; summarizing the meaning and indicating the name. The first part is: Here it is said that things exist by their own nature, because their contact is shown, as it is said in the Sutra Pitaka: depending on the eye and form, the consciousness of the eye arises, and the combination of the three produces touch. What arises simultaneously with touch is feeling, which appears extensively, and similarly, these two dharmas of feeling and consciousness are contact, not non-contact. Thus it is said, and the subsequent attachment, anger, and ignorance are universally combined, through these universally combined. Thus the contact of the aggregates has been explained. Therefore, to refute such a claim, it is divided into two parts: refuting that contact is established by its own nature; by refuting contact, it is also shown that those who are contacting, etc., are also excluded. The first part is divided into two parts: establishing the proposition; showing the argument. The first part is: Among the object to be observed, the form, the observing eye, and the observer consciousness, the eye and form or the eye and consciousness
