Depending on that, it must be established as "fruit of meaning." If analyzed, it will collapse, because inquiring and stating the reason for meaning itself becomes the reason for obstructing meaning. If analyzed, one's own essence of wisdom becomes the fruit. Fourth, it is necessary to establish that very category, namely, the general and the common basis, the object to be proven, the means of proof, the dharma and the possessor of dharma, one and different, the agent and the action, etc., although they are the conventional truths of one's own system. However, even if one realizes that these are not substantial, one will not realize the selflessness of phenomena by that alone, because it is common to both meaning and mind. Therefore, when the sense consciousness perceives an object, the three, action, activity, and agent, appear to be substantially different. As they appear, the three, the apprehended, the apprehender, and the consciousness, being different, are the self of phenomena, and realizing the absence of that is realizing the selflessness of phenomena. The mere difference of the three, the apprehended, the apprehender, and the consciousness, is established by valid cognition in one's own system. Therefore, that subject, is not true, because it is separated from the true one and many. This is the reason. Blue subject, is not substantially different from the consciousness that appears blue, because it is definitely cognized simultaneously with it. And so on, it is established by relying on reasons. When guiding other disciples, from the perspective of benefiting others, analyzing doubts about some difficult points is the category of trust and fame. First, the way to analyze the extremely hidden, the basis of analysis, clearly identifying the clear, and how harm and obstacles arise. First, it is heard that engaging in and withdrawing from the meaning of the extremely hidden brings great benefits and harms. Thinking about this, one wonders if one does not engage in and withdraw from it, one might lose great benefits, and what method should one rely on to engage in and withdraw from it? After thinking in this way, one sees that the scriptures that show the measurable by the power of reality, before it is certain that the scriptures are harmful, the meaning to be shown is already established by valid cognition, and the scriptures also do not deceive the meaning to be shown. However, it is not seen that it is established in this way for the extremely hidden. However, it is seen that the scriptures that show the extremely hidden, before it is certain of their meaning to be shown, it is certain that there are no contradictions between the earlier and later, and there are no direct or indirect contradictions. Therefore, those who have discrimination are the three of scripture analysis.

Depending on purity and impurity, it engages in acceptance and rejection of extremely hidden meanings. The second is, as stated in "relation and means of accordance," it is the scripture distinguished by three characteristics. The third is the reason why it is not the same as refuting with reality and the power of reality. The first is, the example of refuting that generosity and other dharmas are not givers of happiness, and that valid cognition is not the object to be measured or the measurer. This is said to be an example illustrating a part. Master Dharmottara says, "Because the dharma is directly promised, it implies that the ability to give happiness is promised, so the refuter previously promised, and then says that it is not a giver of happiness, which is called the promise of what is to be refuted." The second is, in the example of refutation by other valid cognitions, it is not necessary to promise both what is to be refuted and the refuter, but what is the reason why it is necessary here? Because it is not refuted by the promise of others, the sound is not audible, and it will be obviously refuted, so it is not necessary to promise that the sound is audible beforehand, but here it is refuted by the promise, so it is necessary to promise the harmer beforehand. Therefore, Master Dignāga said, "Therefore, the promise." That generosity and other things that are part of the proposition are dharma is the meaning established by the reliable inference that has become the refuter, and should not be considered as the subject of knowledge, because if that is taken as the basis, it is impossible to establish the cause of generating happiness. Then, it would be sufficient to say that generosity and other things are not givers of happiness as an example of reliable refutation, but why is it necessary to say "dharma"? Just like establishing that sound is impermanent, because generosity is mentioned as the basis of the dispute in speech, it is impossible to establish the reliable cause of generating happiness, and for the appearance like a proposition, there is no actual contradiction of the previous and subsequent promises. If generosity and other things being dharma are taken as the basis of the dispute, then no matter what is established as the means of proof, it is impossible to go beyond admitting the subject term and the means of proof. Fourth, there are common obstacles and separate tenets. The first is, as stated in "How I am not a valid cognition, words do not enter the object," the sound does not
