It is not appropriate to comment on the classification of Dharma. If it is determined that generosity, etc., are Dharma, then the valid means of proving it relies on scripture, and there is no other. Therefore, the scripture itself establishes the proof of its expressed argument and the harm to the opposite. Third, if the scripture is not a harm-doer, then generosity, etc., being Dharma cannot be proven by valid means. In this way, mutual obstruction is also unreasonable, because there is no basis for obstruction. The second part is to refute by examining how scripture becomes a valid means, as well as the meaning of mutual obstruction, and to determine the difference between one's own school's scripture as harm and proof. First, generosity brings enjoyment, and law brings happiness. Such a scripture itself is not a valid means of proving its own expressed argument. If asked what way it becomes a valid means of proof, if the answer is that it is merely acknowledged as a valid means, then the two harms of self-contradiction and contradiction with acknowledgment will become the same, because generosity, etc., which are considered to be harm, are also established merely through acknowledgment. The contradiction of direct or indirect promises on what basis is self-contradiction, and the contradiction between before and after on a very hidden basis is contradiction with the treatise. Second, the two promises of giving happiness and not giving happiness on generosity are not showing mutual obstruction and equal strength, because the strength is not the same in any way. Even if it has not been proven by valid means in any aspect, it is not right to consider the strength to be the same in view of the mind of the promiser, because it must be admitted that the strength is also the same in meaning. Therefore, if the previous scripture promises as proof of its own expressed argument, then the scripture showing that happiness is not given from black Dharma is also the proof of its own expressed argument, so these two scriptures are not showing mutual strength and obstruction, but these two scriptures promise that the two promises of proof as their own expressed argument show the same strength. For example, the sentence "sound is impermanent" and the sentence "sound is permanent", and the two arguments they express, although the strengths are not the same, but

If the former is accepted as the proof of one's own proposition, then the latter should also be accepted as the proof of one's own proposition in the same way. They can also hinder each other, because if the latter is not prevented from being the proof of one's own proposition, then the former will not be established, and if the former is not established, then it will also hinder the certainty of the meaning of the commitment. Thirdly, identifying the obstructive scripture, and distinguishing it from the three lines of reasoning of reality, trust, and fame. First, that scripture that is pure by the three examinations, such as the scripture that says, "Generosity brings enjoyment, and discipline brings happiness," becomes a non-deceptive proof for what it teaches and an obstacle to the opposite, because the three ways are well fulfilled in proving that which is to be proven. Those who think that the proof of trust is impossible see that scripture is not the proof of one's own proposition, so they make it a source of error and assume that if it is scripture, it will not be accepted as an obstructive proof, which is unreasonable. Just as if it is a product, then sound is permanent, which would be an obstacle, although it is not pervasive, it is not contradictory for the product to be an obstacle. Such a sign of trust is made from the point of view of one's own benefit, but if it is made from the point of view of taming other disciples, then it is said, "For it, it is the sign of the promised result," like the scripture and one's own words, if there is no meaning to one's own proposition, then the result that does not arise is the reason for the promise in consideration of the minds of the disciples, but it is not appropriate to accept it as a result sign in one's own system, because if it is so, then it must also be promised that the dharma to be proven is non-existent, which would become a result sign of negation. For the meaning of the scriptures, for the individual who has not completely completed most of the examinations, even the intelligent opponent temporarily acknowledges to others that if it is a scripture that is pure by the three examinations, then it is pervasive to the proof of what each expresses, which is the view of the teacher Dignāga. And those aspects of the scripture that obstruct, think that it is the view of the teacher to accept it as one's own system in all aspects. Therefore, before one's own accepted scripture cannot be determined by the power of the valid authority to be pure by the three examinations, one thinks that it is because it is the speech of the person one trusts.
