It is permissible to buy cotton seeds and sow them, and to wear clothes made of cotton. Because the nature of cotton cloth and the nature of cotton seeds are exactly the same. If it is said that even though these two are of the same nature, worldly ignorant people do not wear cotton seeds because they do not see the fruit in the cause. Then, the teacher you acknowledge in the Samkhya school, such as the sage Lingskye, etc., since you consider them to be omniscient, they have established this by knowing the principle that the fruit exists in the cause, and since you also know this, then you eating food, eating impure things, etc., will also become the same. According to your view, worldly people also know this principle, so why don't they see the fruit in the cause? They should be able to see it. Because they know the principle established by the Samkhya school that the fruit exists in the cause. Also, in the previous argument, your teacher, since they also want to know this principle, but they do not wear cotton seeds, but insist on wearing cotton cloth, it is clear that there is no fruit in the cause. If it is said that because what is seen by worldly people is not a true measure, it is unreliable. Then, the manifested nature of the transformations seen by worldly people is also not true. Because what is seen by worldly people is not a measure. Secondly, for the Madhyamikas, the faults are not the same. If according to your view, if conventional measure is not ultimate measure, then the object measured by the false measure, and the measurement itself, if it is not established as measurement, will it not become inverted and false? It should become so. Because the measurer is a false measure. For the same reason, your desired practice of emptiness will not be non-inverted, because the measure that measures it is false. If you say so. Objects of knowledge, for us, the measure that measures emptiness is false, and the emptiness established by it is also false, which is very reasonable. Because the determination of the negation that negates the truly existent object by conceptual thought depends on the appearance of the image of what is to be negated. The reason is that, for the object being examined, if conceptual thought does not recognize true establishment, that is, if the image of true establishment does not appear, then conceptual thought will not grasp the non-reality and non-truth of that true emptiness. Therefore, because the false object to be negated does not exist, the negation of what is to be negated.

Its unreality is clearly false. The previous example is like the fact that the appearance of the death of a barren woman's son will not appear in consciousness until the appearance of the image of a barren woman's son arises. If the emptiness of what is to be refuted is established as true, then through the subsequent inference of reason, the appearance of emptiness must be established as true. If that is the case, the individual parts of what is to be refuted cannot exist, and because the truth of what is to be refuted appears in that, the appearance of truth must also be established as true. If that is the case, if true establishment must exist, because it does not exist, then the emptiness that refutes it is also false and not established as true. This is what the Mulamadhyamakakarika says, "If there is a little bit of non-emptiness," etc., which explains this meaning. Without the general meaning of true establishment arising, emptiness cannot be well determined, therefore, in order to determine emptiness, one must be skilled in grasping the measure of what is to be refuted. Therefore, for example, seeing the death of a son in a dream, the conceptual thought that thinks that the son does not exist, although it is an obstacle to the conceptual thought that thinks that the son exists, both the object to be abandoned and the antidote in the dream are also false, similarly, it is not contradictory to destroy the false object to be abandoned with a false antidote, and to measure the false object to be measured with a false measure. Since the Samkhya school admits that all knowable things are truly established, they do not understand how to establish a false measure, so it is not the same. Fourth, because of that reason, as previously stated, by analyzing with reason, it is not only impossible to arise from dissimilar causes such as Ishvara and Pradhana, but also no result arises from no cause, this is a summary of refuting arising from no cause. Fifth, these four lines of text can be applied to the conclusion of refuting arising from the three natures, and can also be applied to the reasoning of refuting arising from both self and other. Fruits such as sprouts, whether they exist in individual factors such as water, ditches, temperature, and humidity, or in all assembled conditions, are not naturally present like a tree relying on a support, because if they existed, they should be able to be seen, but in fact they are not seen. And they do not exist at that time either, because the sprout does not arise until the conditions have changed. Those conditions do not come from elsewhere, nor are they established and existing in the manner of being established by nature, nor do they cease and go elsewhere.
