It is for the sake of the object of focus. Secondly, 1) questioning and refuting the meaning of Ishvara (自在,Lord); 2) if it is permanent, it should not be the cause of all contingent things; 3) refuting the permanent atom as the cause, combined with the recollection of what has been said. The first one is that the Lokayata (顺世外道,Materialists), Vaisheshika (胜论外道,Particularists), and Samkhya (数论外道,Enumerators), who accept Ishvara as God, say: "Ishvara, the self-born omniscient one, has done everything with his mind in advance, including dwelling, body, and enjoyment, so he is the cause of beings." If so, briefly ask, what is the meaning of Ishvara? Please tell me. If you ask like this, they answer: "The elements such as earth increase or decrease, causing the fruit to increase or decrease, so it is called the great element." If you say so, although it is like that, we also admit that the great element increases or decreases, causing the fruit to increase or decrease. However, just because the names are different with no difference in meaning, what is the great assembly for establishing Ishvara for? It is not appropriate to work hard, it should be like that. If there is a big difference in meaning such as permanent or impermanent, then this should not be Ishvara, that is, however. The elements such as earth have the nature of many substances, and are impermanent with birth and death, and do not move with wisdom in advance to produce fruit. Moreover, the great element is not a god, but also something that is trampled on by feet, etc., and is impure. Therefore, it is not Ishvara, because it is permanent and unique, and it is made with wisdom in advance to produce fruit, and it is accepted as a god, and it is accepted as non-impure and non-trampled. If you say that space is Ishvara, then space, the dharma characteristic, is not Ishvara, because it does not move for the sake of the fruit. The permanent self is also not Ishvara, because it has both matter and consciousness, which have been previously rejected. If you say that Ishvara is an inconceivable agent, so there are no such faults, then what is the use of saying that he is an inconceivable agent? You also do not know what Ishvara is, so it is inconceivable. Secondly, if feelings such as happiness and suffering are born from previous actions, etc., then what is the fruit that your desired Ishvara produces? If you ask like this, they answer: "It is me." If you say so, then it is unreasonable, it should be like that. Me and the earth, etc., and the same kind of Ishvara itself, or it can be the nature of the afterlife, Ishvara with

Because it is not made. Are self and the atoms of the four elements, and Isvara, etc., not permanent? Because they are accepted as permanent, it is unreasonable for these to have arising and causing. Therefore, the previously appearing sense consciousness, etc., arises from knowable blue, etc., and from beginningless time, feelings of pleasure and pain, good and non-good, arise from karma. Please say what result does Isvara produce? Because the result produced by it is impossible. Because the cause, Isvara, is permanent and real, if it has no beginning, then where is the beginning of the present feelings, etc., results? Because today's feeling is also caused by the power of the real cause arising from beginningless time, why does Isvara not always produce all results? Because it is the maker of all results, not depending on other conditions. If there is another result that is not made by Isvara, then what condition does Isvara's production of result depend on? Even if it is considered a co-operative condition, it must be done by Isvara, and it is enough to be done by it. If Isvara's production of result depends on a co-operative condition, then the collection of the proximate and co-operative conditions themselves become the cause, and Isvara does not become an independent cause. If the causal conditions gather, Isvara has no power not to produce the result, and if they do not gather, Isvara also has no power to produce it. If Isvara unwillingly produces the result of hell's suffering, etc., by karma, then Isvara becomes subject to others, and the status of being the independent maker of all is lost. If Isvara wants to produce the result and produces the result, then it only depends on wanting the result. If wanting produces the result, then how can it be Isvara? Because wanting is impermanent. Third, those Vaisesikas who say that permanent atoms are the makers of various goers have also been refuted by the previous reasoning refuting indivisible atoms, so there is no need to add to what is already dead. Third, establishing the thesis and refuting it. First, the Samkhyas.
