Because it is the cause of pride, namely, afflictive ignorance, due to being deluded about the self, it will increase the suffering of samsara, so it must be eliminated, and it can be eliminated, so there is no contradiction. Someone says: Even if such ignorance is eliminated, the clinging to truth cannot be eliminated, that is, it cannot be eliminated, and even if it is eliminated once, it will arise again like the aggregates of samsara, so it will not be completely exhausted. Answer: It is not that the clinging to truth cannot be eliminated, because it is a reversed clinging to the reality of things. It is very weak and inferior, and it is superior in relation to the meditation on selflessness, because it is a non-reversed realization of the nature of things. The other is to uproot it from the root. Second, the detailed explanation of the selflessness of phenomena, the explanation of the selflessness of phenomena from the perspective of the four mindfulnesses, and the refutation of the unreasonable accusations of the two truths, and the establishment of the reason for establishing selflessness. First, cultivate the mindfulness of the body, cultivate the mindfulness of feelings, cultivate the mindfulness of the mind, and cultivate the mindfulness of phenomena. First, determine that the body with parts is not self-existent, determine that the parts and limbs are not self-existent, therefore, one should not be attached to the dream-like body without self-nature, and thus it is also established that the person is without self-nature. First, the body is not established by its own nature, because if it is established by its own nature, then the individual limbs of the body, and the collection of their sum, and their different entities, must be able to find any one of them as the basis of the body, but it cannot be found. Some people think that the sum of all the limbs is the body, what is the doubt about this? Answer: Because it is based on the collection that it is nominally established as the body, the collection of the limbs of the body cannot be the body, if it is not like this, one will eventually have to admit the ultimate indivisible atom. Therefore, when searching for the basis of the term "body", that is, how the body itself exists, the man's feet and tibia are not the man's body, and the thighs and waist are not the body. The abdomen and back are also not the body, because they are based on these that they are nominally established as the man's body. The chest and shoulders are also not the body.

It is. Ribs and hands are also not the body. Armpits and shoulders are also not the body. Internal organs and so on are also not the body of a person, and the head and neck are also not the body of a person, then among these limbs, what is the body of a person? It is nothing. Those that are gathered together, and those that are different in essence from them are also not the body of a person, therefore the body does not inherently exist. If it is said that the gross body is different from the limbs, then, if it is said that there is a gross body with limbs other than the limbs, then does this body with limbs exist in all the limbs with one part each? For example, does it exist by giving one part to the hand, and giving one part to the foot, and so on? Or does it exist in each part with a part, that is, completely without being incomplete? If it is the first case, then the one with parts pervades the hand and so on, and its own parts will exist in the parts of the hand and so on. However, for example, the part of the hand, in which part does it exist, that will become endless, because for example, the hand also exists in its own part, the fingers and so on, and the fingers and so on also exist in their own part. If it is said that the one with limbs has no parts, then the individual parts will not exist in the individual limbs. If it is the latter case, then the body with limbs exists completely in each part such as the hand, etc., with its entire self, then there will be as many bodies as there are hands, etc., because the parts are endless, so it will become purely false, and there will be no truth established at all. Summary of the meaning: Thus, by examining with reason, whether it is the external person considered by Buddhists or the internal agent person considered by non-Buddhists, the body does not inherently exist, and if it does not inherently exist, then how can the hand and so on have the inherent existence of the body? There is none. If there is no body with a different essence from the hand and so on, then how can the body have inherent existence? There is none. The body does not inherently exist, but there is a cause for delusion, therefore the body does not inherently exist, but there is a reason for such delusion. The body does not inherently exist, but due to being truly ignorant of the limbs and so on, the thought that the body inherently exists will arise, just as the thought of a person arises towards a scarecrow due to the difference in arrangement in a shape similar to a person and so on. As long as the scarecrow and the appearance
