And, worldly things exist because they are unexamined. For the listener, although there are only so many base dharmas, when examining the meaning of that term, since tears and enemies that are established separately from the body and head cannot be found, the argument that they are not established as base dharmas is the way of establishing the existence of dharmas by others as previously stated. Existence is in the worldly convention, and for that, it is not established after such examination, but established without examination, thus answering. If established after examination, it cannot be established, and the way of establishing without examination is also known from the continuation of that sutra, if examined in detail, although there is no self different from form etc., but relying on the aggregates, in the worldly convention, this indeed exists, and similarly, enemies and tears are also so, therefore there is no established example, thus speaking of the way of establishing a person. When saying "the form of Devadatta, the mind of Devadatta," if examining how the base Devadatta, to which that term is applied, and his form and mind are established, then those dharmas are also not Devadatta, and Devadatta cannot be found different from his form, mind, etc., therefore after examining and searching, in the sense of finding, there is no place to establish Devadatta, this is "no self." That is, Devadatta is not established by his own characteristic, but it is not that there is no Devadatta, therefore just as it exists in the worldly convention relying on the aggregates, so also establish these two examples. The way of establishing dharmas is also known from the continuation of that sutra, similarly, if examined in detail, for earth etc., there is also no basis of characteristics different from hardness etc. There is also no characteristic without a basis, different from the basis of characteristics, even so, this exists in the worldly convention. Therefore, the teachers establish establishment through the means of merely looking at each other. Thus saying, for establishing earth and hardness etc. as name and named, if seeking the place of application of the name and named as before, and establishing in the sense of finding, then these two cannot be established, but establish their existence through the means of mutual dependence. It is necessary to definitely commit to this way of establishing persons and dharmas, along with the reason, at the very end of that sutra. "This is just like that,"
