Because of manifesting in a certain way, it is called Buddha. According to the way of establishing the three natures, the intention of the sutras should be explained, which is in accordance with what was said. Therefore, the way of establishing the three natures of the Madhyamikas should be done as explained in the commentary on the meaning of the sutras in the Entering the Middle Way. Among them, imputation refers to the other-powered nature of dependent arising from form to Buddha, which is mainly from the perspective of the subject. From form to Buddha, what is imputed as self-nature refers to the self-nature spoken of in the completely imputed, which refers to the essence or self-nature. Although the completely imputed exists in the other-powered nature, in the realm of the Buddha's knowledge of suchness, it is the perfectly established nature. That is to say, the emptiness of the completely imputed that exists in the way of the other-powered nature, which is the way of existence of the other-powered nature, exists in the realm of the Buddha's ultimate wisdom. Therefore, the same way of existence, relative to different bases, is established as the completely imputed and the perfectly established nature. Therefore, although in the self-nature established by its own characteristics, neither the ultimate nor the conventional dharma is established, in the nature of dharma that is established as self-nature, although the conventional dharma is not established, the ultimate truth is established. Therefore, the existence and non-existence of self-nature should be understood in detail. What is said that without touching the conditioned phenomena, only the self-nature is directly realized, refers to the meaning of directly realizing the ultimate truth, which is to negate the existence of the dharma nature, but this is not contradictory, as has been said before. The commentary on the Entering the Middle Way says: Since there is no grasper and grasped other than the other-powered nature, one should contemplate the completely imputed grasper and grasped on the other-powered nature. This is because there is no difference between existence and non-existence between external objects and consciousness. Therefore, both the grasper and the grasped become the other-powered nature. If so, then the two are the basis for completely imputing, but it is unreasonable to completely impute the grasper and the grasped on the two. Therefore, the "real" in what is said about real existence and non-real existence in the Maitreya's Questions refers not to the real thing among the two, real things and imputation, spoken of in other treatises, nor to the real thing established by its own characteristics spoken of by the Madhyamikas, but only to existence. In this way, the completely imputed does not exist in the real thing, which refers to the impossibility of existing in the way of existence of the other-powered nature, and not to the completely imputed that can exist, such as the object of names and symbols.
