In terms of function, according to our view, experience and memory are not other than each other in terms of their own characteristics, as stated. If that is the only reason, then what is experienced by love will also turn into memory due to proximity. Therefore, if these two, according to the view of others, are established as different entities, then innate wisdom will hold them as different entities. If so, previously seeing with the apprehension of blue, later memory will not hold it as seeing, therefore the sameness of the object of experience and memory is contradictory, so the memory of thinking 'I saw' will also arise contradictorily. According to our view, these two are not different entities, and innate wisdom does not hold them as such, therefore it shows that it is not contradictory to hold that memory holds 'I cut it off' when the former cuts off that object. That is also because it is due to the influence of the previous experience that it engages with the object, not autonomously cutting off the object, this is in this case, not in the other. Therefore, not accepting self-awareness as a term is also because it is the ultimate point of preventing establishment by its own characteristics even in terms. Regarding experience, whether it is clearly decided whether it is experienced by oneself or by others is not clearly stated, but it is intended that it is not decided. Because it is not accepted that a lamp illuminates itself, and it is also accepted that it illuminates, just as there is no decision between oneself and others illuminating. If the lamp does not illuminate itself, there is no fault of not being established by valid cognition. If consciousness does not know itself, it will become not established by valid cognition, therefore it is different from a lamp, if you say so. If the lamp does not illuminate itself, others will not illuminate it either, therefore illumination will not be established, and it will not be established for others either, therefore it will become not established by valid cognition, if you say so, what is the answer? Although neither oneself nor others illuminate, but vases etc. illuminate, therefore illumination is established, if you think so. Then it is the same for consciousness. If the object of consciousness itself depends on self-awareness, and if there is no self-awareness, then the object of consciousness will not be established, if you think so. It is the same for a lamp. If so, we say that the lamp illuminates itself, if you think so. It is unreasonable, because it is impossible to be obscured by darkness, and darkness will also obscure itself, if you admit that, then darkness will become invisible. In short, consciousness is labeled in dependence on the knowable, therefore it is not established by its own characteristics, and the knowable is also the reason for that, therefore the terms of these two are not only mutually dependent, but also meaningful.
