It also shows that sound can be established, but there is no measure of sound by those two, and it is said that it has become a measure for things like sound. That is because the previous debater admitted existence with his own entity as a premise, and although the Madhyamika debated the previous debater, there was no difference for the later debater whether he existed with his own entity or not, so it is impossible to show the way to establish it with the Dharmakirti's measure. It is also necessary to understand the way in which those reasons are not established as reasons. Even Lekden himself said that the internal sources of arising are the causes and conditions of the producer, because the Victorious One said so. Regarding the meaning of this reason, if it is conventional truth, then it is not established for you, and if it is ultimate truth, then it is not established for me, so it is to point out the fault by examining the two truths. It is appropriate to point out the fault by examining what kind of knowledge the subject is, whether it is a delusion or not. The reason for this is that, as it is said in the Entering the Middle Way: By seeing all things as true and false, one can obtain the two natures of all things. Whatever is the object of true seeing is the conventional truth of the false seeing. It means that the two obtained by seeing the correct object of knowledge and seeing the false object of knowledge, that is, the wrong object of knowledge, are the key to saying the meaning of the two truths. If the two truths are not examined for the reason, it is necessary to ask what the meaning of the reason is, and in the case of examining the three things that are merely and inclusive without any difference between the two, it is necessary to ask what should be established as the reason. Such accusations of faults, in order to avoid contradicting one's own statement, list the reasons for not admitting Svatantrika, because establishing the statement to be established by one's own school is enough for the later debater, because it is only for the sake of dispelling wrong discriminations. Someone might think, wouldn't it be okay if it was established for either party? Taking the disputes of ordinary people as an example, that would be okay, and for both establishment and refutation, it is also necessary for both parties to establish the Lokayata, and it should also be considered that the previous school is acceptable, because it is enough to establish it for oneself for the harm of the scriptural proof and the inference of self-interest. Therefore, in the Lamp of Wisdom, the accusation of other people's faults

At some point, expressing it through autonomy or through the way of blaming, this translation into "autonomy" and "self-sustaining" have the same meaning. Without relying on the commitment of external debaters, but through valid cognition, from the state of existence of things, autonomously, the subject and the property, and the way of reasoning, etc., after determining the way of establishment, a subsequent inference arises that understands what is to be proven, which is the meaning of self-sustaining. That is to say, for external debaters who believe that all things exist by their own nature, before what is to be proven is established, no distinction is made as to whether it exists by its own nature or not. It is impossible to determine such a way of establishing what is to be measured by valid cognition, so although one admits the reason and what is to be proven, one does not admit the self-sustaining reason and what is to be proven. Relying on the reason of dependent origination and the example of images, when establishing the inference of other-renownedness that proves that the sprout does not exist by its own nature, one does not admit that the sprout is dependently originated and arises from dependent origination, and that there is no difference in self-nature. Because of this reason, it is not right to say that both are not established and that it is other-renownedness, but as before, because valid cognition has not autonomously proven it to the external debater, so in that way, valid cognition does not establish both self and other. The sprout and its designation as dependent origination, etc., are established by innate valid cognition, and although they are present in the continuum of both the debater and the external debater, the valid cognition that measures that and existence by its own nature are mixed together in the presence of the external debater, and cannot be distinguished until insight arises. Even if the previous debater distinguishes it, it cannot be shown at that time. Within the Consequentialists, although it is possible to show the way of establishment through valid cognition without relying on mutual commitments, it is a valid cognition established by the power of nominal designation, not established by the power of the self-nature of things, so self-sustaining is not permissible. For things like sprouts, there are three kinds of grasping: grasping at existence by its own nature, grasping at non-existence there, and grasping at not distinguishing between the two. All three are present in the continuum where insight has arisen, but if one can understand well the differences that only the first and last two are present in the continuum where insight has not been attained, then everything that conceptual thought grasps as "what is this" will not be blocked by reason, and the practice of bodhicitta before insight has arisen in the continuum.
