For that reason. The fault of that doubt is non-existent, because sound is definitely impermanent, even if the grasping of sound as permanent is reversed, it is not contradictory that the grasping of permanence is not reversed because of observing sound, just like that. Regarding the object of other-powered thoroughly purified, if it is made into ultimate truth, even if it is not established in that ultimate truth, whether it is established or not in another ultimate truth will be explained. Regarding the second way of establishing ultimate truth as emptiness of self-nature, it is also said in the Explanation of the Profound Meaning: "Furthermore, whatever is the characteristic of the thoroughly established of all phenomena, that is also called ultimate truth emptiness of self-nature. Why is that? Ultimate truth, reality, excellence. Whatever is the absence of self of phenomena, that is called their emptiness of self-nature, that is ultimate truth, and ultimate truth is thoroughly distinguished by the emptiness of self-nature of all phenomena, therefore it is called ultimate truth emptiness of self-nature." It is said. The thoroughly established absence of self of phenomena is the object of thorough purification, so it is also ultimate truth. Because it is thoroughly distinguished by the emptiness of self-nature of the self of phenomena, it is established only by that, therefore it is also called emptiness of self-nature of phenomena, therefore it is called ultimate truth emptiness of self-nature. Again, in the Explanation of the Profound Meaning it is said: "If the characteristic of the conditioned and the characteristic of the ultimate truth are different, then the mere absence of self and the mere emptiness of self-nature of the conditioned phenomena will not become the characteristic of the ultimate truth." It is said. In the case of the example, it is also said that just as the sky is established as merely formless, so is the absence of self established. Therefore, for the subject, the compounded, the absence of elaboration of merely distinguishing the self of phenomena, the thoroughly established absence of self of phenomena is established, because it is very clear. Clearly wanting to show the meaning of suchness of this sutra as my meaning, but not from the immutable thoroughly established, the negation of the object to be negated, merely from the exclusion of the exclusion, but thinking that the object to be negated that appears in the mind does not depend on the exclusion, but is established on the autonomous that can be established, is contradictory. This thoroughly established is merely the complete distinction of the self-nature of the self of phenomena, therefore it is said that the ultimate truth emptiness of self-nature of phenomena, but not because in the nature of the negation itself, there is no establishment by its own characteristic, so it is not accepted as the tenet of emptiness of self-nature.

Regarding what the three types of non-inherent existence are likened to, the Explanation of Intention states: For example, just as with a flower in the sky, one should observe the non-inherent existence of characteristics. Ultimate truth, truly excellent. For example, just as with an illusion created by magic, one should observe the non-inherent existence of arising. One should also observe the non-inherent existence of ultimate truth from that. Ultimate truth, truly excellent. For example, just as space is distinguished and pervades everything merely by the non-inherent existence of form, similarly, one should observe the non-inherent existence of ultimate truth, which is distinguished and pervades everything by the absence of self of phenomena. Thus it is said. The analogy of the dependently imputed with a sky flower is merely an analogy of imputation by conceptualization, and not an analogy of something impossible to exist in the knowable. The way in which the other-powered is like an illusion will be explained later, and the meaning of the example of the thoroughly established is clear in the text. The way in which non-inherent existence is spoken of as non-inherent existence is explained in that way, but if it is not like that, and it is said that all three natures are not established by their own characteristics, then that is clinging to the sutras that speak of non-inherent existence as if they were literal. If that is the case, then one will obtain a nihilistic or annihilationist view, because it is a slander of the three natures, and therefore one will become a holder of the view of no characteristics. For example, if the other-powered is not established by its own characteristics, then arising cannot be valid, so it is a slander of that. If the thoroughly established does not exist by its own characteristics, then it will not become the nature of things. If it is assumed that viewing something as not established by its own characteristics is a slander of the other two natures, then how does it become a slander of the dependently imputed? If the other two natures do not exist by their own characteristics, then those two will not exist, and if that is the case, then there will be no basis for imputation of the dependently imputed, nor will there be a term for the imputator, so the dependently imputed will become completely non-existent. Thus, in the Explanation of Intention it also says: My intention, that is, the profound truth that is spoken of, is not fully understood, and even if faith arises in the Dharma, all these dharmas are merely non-inherent existence. All these dharmas are merely unborn. Not ceasing.
