Similarly, it will be impossible to obstruct even a little of the truth. If one thinks that the meaning of "conditioned phenomena are empty of their own nature, which is established by their own nature" is that the dharma does not have its own nature, so it is a nihilistic emptiness; while the Tathagatagarbha has its own nature, so it is truly existent. Then, this is the ultimate inverted point of establishing conditioned phenomena as empty, and it is a view that slanders the dependent origination of conditioned phenomena. The latter, if one thinks that having its own nature is truly established, then it is an unbearable eternalist view that clings to permanence. Therefore, this is a wrong understanding of the meaning of correct emptiness. If emptiness of its own nature, which is established by its own nature, means that it itself does not have itself, then what does not have itself cannot exist anywhere. Therefore, all those who claim that some dharmas are true, and the scriptures and reasoning that prove it, etc., are also empty of their own nature, which is established by their own nature. Since the basis is not established, establishing the doctrine that some dharmas are true is just speaking arbitrarily without investigation. After ভালোভাবে understanding this kind of reasoning, all the Indian schools that claim that dharmas are truly established necessarily claim that things are truly established, so they are called "those who speak of things." As long as one claims that things are not truly existent, one will not think that any dharma is truly established. This seems to be a sign that they are far superior to the sophists of this side. Here, all those who claim that Suchness is two different things, if they agree with the former view, that the conventional is empty of its own nature, which is established by its own nature, then how they argue about whether the ultimate is established or not should also be well understood from what was said before. Because, denying the truth of all dharmas with reasoning, and thus not admitting the truth of things and all dharmas; and relying on the wrong nihilistic emptiness to claim that things and all dharmas are not truly existent, these two are not the same in any way. If the meaning of "If the conditioned cannot be established, how can the unconditioned be established?" is the same as before, then the Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning says: "When do the Buddhas say that Nirvana is the only truth? At that time, are the rest false?

Then (na zhes), it says: Which wise person would think that way? As it is said in the scriptures, only Nirvana is true, and everything else is not true. And also in the 'Dharmadhatu Praise': Emptiness is the sutra taught by the Buddha. Whatever the Victorious One has said, all of that eliminates afflictions. It does not destroy this realm. This explains that the sutras that teach emptiness without inherent existence are for the purpose of abandoning afflictions, and not for teaching that the realm of self-nature purity does not exist. So how can this not be contradictory? These are those who have wrongly engaged in the meaning of the scriptures. This is because the meaning of the previous scripture is: The Blessed One said: Bhikshus, this supreme truth is one, namely, the nature of non-deception, which is Nirvana. All conditioned phenomena are false, with the nature of deception. This sutra also says that Nirvana is true, and all conditioned phenomena are false. The meaning of truth, the previous sutra explains as non-deception, and the meaning of falsehood, the latter sutra explains as deception, which is very clear. Moreover, Nirvana is the ultimate truth, as explained by the commentary on the 'Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning'. Therefore, in the face of the wisdom that directly sees it, there is no deception in appearing as existent without being inherently established. The remaining conditioned phenomena, in the face of the wisdom that directly sees them, there is deception in appearing as existent without being inherently established. Therefore, if analyzed with the reasoning that distinguishes whether it is true or not, they are not truths that can withstand analysis. Therefore, do not just cling to the name without carefully considering its meaning. Furthermore, the 'Sixty Stanzas of Reasoning' says: Existence and Nirvana, these two do not exist. The very understanding of existence is called Nirvana. This explains that neither existence nor peace is inherently existent, and that the state of understanding existence as not inherently established is itself established as Nirvana. So how could this be a view that considers samsara to be a nihilistic emptiness without truth? The meaning of the praise scripture is that the sutras that teach emptiness without inherent existence are for the purpose of reversing the root of all other afflictions—the clinging to the truth of things—therefore, they teach that the object of that clinging does not exist, and not that the realm of self-nature purity, which is the object of the obstacle of true clinging—the two selves (self of person, self of phenomena)—is empty.
