Also, it is said in that very text. The object of approaching with deceit and trickery, rather than with sincere intention, is: any other sentient being. What is done to them? It is acting with deceit and trickery. Among them, trickery refers to falsifying weights and measures, etc. For example, Gyalwa Yejung (a name) sold coarse cloth as butter, saying it was sent to Stodlung (a place name), but later admitted that the coarse cloth could be disposed of as one pleased. Deceit refers to pretending to have qualities that one does not have, and trickery refers to concealing one's own faults by means of methods, as stated in the Compendium of Topics. Second, the first object of the white dharma is all sentient beings. The action is: towards them, to abandon knowingly speaking falsely, even for the sake of life or even for the sake of joking. If done in this way, one will not deceive one's own Khenpo, teacher, etc., who are special objects, with lies. The second object of the white dharma is all sentient beings. The action is: to abide towards them without deceit and trickery, but with sincere intention, that is, to abide with an upright mind. This is the antidote to the fourth black dharma. The third object of the white dharma is all Bodhisattvas. The action is: to generate the thought of being the same as the teacher, and to praise their virtues in the four directions. Sharawa's mouth said: We seem to be doing good deeds, but there are no signs of increase, but many signs of decrease. This is because of anger and contempt towards Bodhisattvas and friends, and because of harming them. Therefore, if one can do this, and abandon harming Bodhisattvas, then all the harms mentioned in the Compendium of Trainings that depend on individuals will not occur. Because one does not know where Bodhisattvas are, one should generate the thought of the teacher towards all sentient beings, as requested by Od-srung (a name), and then practice purifying pure appearances. Praising virtues should also be done when the listener is ready, and there will be no fault if one does not go around and say it everywhere. This is the antidote to the third black dharma. The fourth object of the white dharma is the sentient beings that one ripens. The action towards them is: not desiring the Hinayana, but leading them to take hold of complete Bodhi. Moreover, one must combine oneself with the trainable person. If the trainable person does not generate that thought, there will be no fault, because it cannot be done. This can counteract the black dharma

Secondly, abandoning: If you want to place the happiness of all beings in the ultimate, then, in order not to cause beings to have unpleasant regrets, do not deliberately do those actions that cause unpleasantness. As it is also said in the Lion's Request Sutra: "In all lives, the mind of enlightenment, even in dreams, do not abandon this mind, if you do not abandon it when not sleeping, how much more so when awake, how can you abandon it? The Blessed One said: Whether in towns or villages, or in any place where you dwell, you should truly enter into enlightenment, therefore, you should not abandon the mind of enlightenment." Furthermore, if you have the four qualities of abandoning pride, jealousy, stinginess, and rejoicing when you see the prosperity of others, you will not abandon your aspiration, as stated in the Manjushri Pure Land Adornment Sutra. In the Ratnakuta Sutra, it is said: In all activities, cultivate the mind of enlightenment, and before doing any good deeds, generate the mind of enlightenment, so that in future lives you will not be separated from the precious mind of enlightenment. "No matter how much people repeatedly contemplate." And so on, the scriptures clearly explain this. Thirdly, if you violate the precepts other than not abandoning the aspiration and not abandoning sentient beings, although there are no transgressions belonging to a Bodhisattva before you have received the Bodhisattva vows, there will be misconduct because there is a violation of the precepts of the intermediate vows of good deeds, so you should confess with the four powers. The third part has three points: the reason why you must study the precepts after generating the mind of enlightenment; explaining that you cannot become a Buddha by only studying individual means and wisdom; and explaining the order of studying the precepts. The first point is: Thus, after generating the aspiration, if you do not study the precepts of generosity, etc., although the merits are great as stated in the previously quoted Maitreya Biography, it is impossible to become a Buddha if you do not make the practice of the Bodhisattva's precepts the core, so you must study the conduct. As it is said in the Samadhiraja Sutra: "Therefore, you should make practice the core. Why is that? Young man, by making practice the core, it is not difficult to obtain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment." Also, in the First Stage of Meditation, it is said: Thus, a Bodhisattva who has generated the mind of enlightenment, if he has not tamed himself, cannot tame others.
